'He is doing great': Tim Curry is recovering at his LA home after having a stroke  Rocky Horror Show actor Tim Curry is recovering after suffering a major stroke at his home in Los Angeles. The British star, 67, is said to be 'doing great' following the collapse. Curry rose to fame as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult musical and went on to a successful stage and film career. Few details were available about the stroke last night, but sources close to the actor refused suggestions that the stroke had made it difficult for him to speak. 'Tim is doing great,' said his longtime Los Angeles agent Marcia Hurwitz. 'He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humour', she added.

ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR 'LATE' RAPPER TIM DOG
An arrest warrant has been issued for veteran rapper Tim Dog three months after his alleged death. The New York native, real name Timothy Blair, was a longtime diabetes sufferer and was widely reported to have passed away on Feb. 14, following a seizure. However, Mississippi prosecutor Steven Jubera claims he has yet to receive any proof confirming the 46-year-old's death, so he has managed to obtain a warrant for the hip-hop star's arrest. Jubera says, "I need proof. I need a death certificate showing that he's dead because, as far as I'm concerned, he's alive. Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary. ... At the bare minimum he would get arrested and sit in jail until his court hearing." The warrant relates to Blair's 2011 conviction for grand larceny, after he confessed to targeting Ester Pilgrim for money that he claimed would be used to resurrect his music career. He reached a plea deal to avoid a stint in jail, and was ordered to give $19,000 in restitution to his victim, but he failed to settle the debt before his passing. Pilgrim recently voiced her suspicions about the circumstances surrounding Blair's death, prompting Jubera to revisit the case.

Golfer Under Fire for Racist Comments About Tiger Woods
Pro golfer Sergio Garcia is getting skewered over what some are calling blatant racist remarks aimed at Tiger Woods. When jokingly asked Tuesday night if he would invite woods over for dinner at an upcoming tournament, Garcia said "we will have him round every night. We will serve fried chicken." Woods swiftly responded on Twitter, tweeting "The comment that was made wasn't silly. It was wrong, hurtful and clearly inappropriate. I'm confident that there is real regret that the remark was made." “My answer was totally out of place,” Garcia apologized at a press conference Wednesday. Garcia said he called Woods' agent to speak directly with him, but has not gotten through as of yet. The golfer added he does intend to apologize directly at some point. There’s no love lost between the two golf titans. They have been battling on and off the green since the late 90s. Most recently the two squared off at the Players Championship when Garcia accused Woods of distracting him on while he was taking a shot. “Of course he’s complaining about something,” Woods responded. This isn't the first time Woods has been the victim of a remark considered racist. At the '97 Masters another pro golfer, Fuzzy Zoeller, was asked about Wood’s record run and responded with, “say congratulations, enjoy it and tell him not to serve fried chicken next year or collard greens or whatever the hell they serve.” Woods forgave Zoeller after he apologized.

Amanda Bynes Arrested in NYC ApartmentActress Amanda Bynes was arrested by police in her Midtown apartment after officers caught her throwing apparent drug paraphernalia out the window. The doorman at Bynes' building on West 47th Streeet called police to report she was smoking marijuana in the lobby, sources said. When officers arrived, Bynes had gone back to her apartment on the 36th floor. When officers observed a bong inside the apartment as Bynes opened the door, she allegedly grabbed it and tossed it out of the window. Officers also noted a "heavy" smell of marijuana and smoke inside the apartment. Bynes was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marihuana.  She was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, then to a Midtown police station to be processed. She was expected to spend the night in Manhattan central booking and appear in court Friday.  Bynes, whose increasingly bizarre behavior has been the subject of tabloid scrutiny in recent months, is already under probation for driving with a suspended license. The plea deal secured in Burbank, Calif. earlier this month placed Bynes under three years probation.  The former Nickelodeon star also has a DUI case pending in Beverly Hills.

Geno Smith Signs with Roc Nation Sports
Geno Smith has joined Jay-Z for one big sports and hip-hop collaboration. The New York Jets rookie quarterback has chosen the rap artist's new Roc Nation Sports to represent him. Smith, who slipped out of the first round last month and fell to the Jets in the second round at No. 39 overall, fired his agents - Select Sports - shortly after the NFL draft. The former West Virginia star met with a handful of agents before announcing Wednesday that he had chosen Jay-Z's agency, which is partnered with Creative Artists Agency. Smith insisted after practice that Jay-Z didn't play ''that big of a role'' in his final decision - although the quarterback recently tweeted a photo of him with the hip-hop star. ''I think it's just his agency,'' Smith said. ''When you talk about being in New York from a standpoint of what they can do in the city, the connections that they have, I think it's a good move. My mother and my family were comfortable with it, and I'm comfortable with it. I'm just going to move on from there. It's not going to be a big deal. ''I'll just remain humble and keep focusing on football.'' Kimberly Miale, recently hired by Jay-Z, whose given name is Shawn Carter, will serve as Smith's contract agent. Smith will be Miale's first NFL client. Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano and former Notre Dame star Skylar Diggins, drafted No. 3 overall by the WNBA's Tulsa Shock, have also recently signed with Roc Nation. Smith, who is competing with Mark Sanchez among others for the team's starting job, said the decision to go with Jay-Z is not an indication that he's focused on his image and marketing opportunities - as speculated by some. ''It's not that important to me, honestly,'' Smith said. ''The only thing that's important to me is the image that's perceived around this locker room, the guy I am to my teammates, to my coaches and the work I put in on the football field. I'm all about football. ''I'm all about getting better.''

Canseco accused of sexual assault
Former baseball slugger Jose Canseco Jr. has been accused of sexual assault in Las Vegas, in an investigation that the former baseball slugger made public with postings on a social media website claiming that a woman falsely accused him of rape. No arrest was made and police said no charges were immediately filed against the 48-year-old former Oakland Athletics rookie of the year who played for six other teams from 1985 to 2001 and later wrote a tell-all book admitting that he used performance-enhancing steroids. Officer Bill Cassell, a police department spokesman, wouldn't say Wednesday where the alleged attack took place. Word about the investigation became public after Canseco posted information about it on the social media network Twitter. He said Las Vegas police had just left his house. The postings - including the name and workplace of a woman - generated an immediate outcry from others who posted comments deriding Canseco. Some of the information was later removed.

Richie Sambora: Jon Bon Jovi needs to stop trash-talkingRocker Richie Sambora has lashed out at his bandmate Jon Bon Jovi, urging the frontman to stop discussing his decision to bow out of the group's current world tour. The guitarist pulled out of Bon Jovi's North American shows in April, citing a "personal matter." He subsequently extended his break and will miss the upcoming European and South African legs of the band's Because We Can tour. In a recent interview, Jon Bon Jovi gave an enigmatic answer as to why Sambora was struggling to fulfil his commitments, saying, "It's getting more and more difficult every day to not just sit here and say something ... Because all I can say is this -- it's for personal reasons." Now Sambora has warned his longtime bandmate to keep quiet about the hiatus, and even accuses the singer of suggesting he is not an essential part of Bon Jovi performances. "I don't have any major problems in life right now, I love my fans and I feel bad for them at the moment. Bottom line," he told Britain's Daily Mail. "My opinion is Jon wants to see if he can pull off stadiums by himself. He is making it very difficult for me to come back. Enough with the trash-talking! Jon needs to stop talking about me publicly. I am fine working very hard on my fashion company Nikki Rich, and this is a private matter."
