Jessica Simpson's parents Tina and Joe Simpson have filed for divorce, a rep for the family says. But that is where the headline-worthy news about the Simpson clan ends, says the rep. "It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved," says the rep. "Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time." Tina, 52, and 54-year-old Joe – a manager and former minister who is often referred to as "Papa Joe" – are also parents to Ashlee Simpson and have two grandchildren between their daughters.
Portman's new Dior's Diorshow New Look lash-multiplying mascara has reportedly been banned in the U.K. by the Advertising Standards Authority, a watchdog organization. the ad was nixed for allegedly "misleadingly exaggerating the effects of the product." The actress's individual lashes were reportedly retouched "for a more stylized, uniform and tidy effect." The ASA reportedly found no fault with the image in itself, but said that placed alongside the ad's verbal claims, the retouching could possibly have led to unrealistic expectations for potential customers. The ad cannot be published in the U.K. again until clarifications are made.

Vivica A. Fox has mocked Stacey Dash after she endorsed presidential candidate Mitt Romney by donning a sexy swimsuit to promote his campaign. The "Clueless" star has received a barrage of criticism for backing Romney instead of Barack Obama ahead of next month's election, and she recently opened up about how she was "saddened and shocked" by the backlash over her political leanings. Now her "Getting Played" co-star Fox has also lambasted Dash for deciding to show her allegiance to the Republican nominee by posing in a red swimsuit for a political shoot. She tells news site TheGrio, "I didn't know she was a Republican. I will start there. Second, I don't know why she had to do a photo shoot in a Baywatch red swimsuit with the boobs and the whole flag behind her. And she doesn't have a job or something to promote right now. I just didn't get it. Most politicians when you support them, you try to support them with class. You don't need to do a swimsuit shoot."
