Mike Tyson is sporting a neck brace and a significant scar after undergoing surgery to fix a degenerated disc. The boxer, 46, showed up to a charity auction held by the World Boxing Council and Hublot Watches in Las Vegas with the large scar on his neck.It has since emerged that Tyson recently went under the knife and had titanium pins inserted to support his neck as a result of an old spinal injury which had been causing him pain. A representative insists Tyson is enjoying a speedy recovery, saying, "It's a very common surgery, especially for athletes. He feels great... just has to wear the neck brace to keep everything stable for the next three weeks." On another note, "Iron Mike" Tyson is learning once again that you can't escape your past, now that all of New Zealand has slammed the door in his face. Never mind that the tattoo on that same face was inspired by the designs of the Maori, New Zealand's indigenous people. And never mind that he was scheduled to appear at a charity event. New Zealand has a policy against welcoming convicted rapists, and so immigration officials canceled his visa. Officials had decided to make an exception in his case, but that decision was overturned at the last minute when the prime minister spoke out against him and the charity decided it would be better off without him.
Matt Barnes Apologizes for Language He Used While Being Arrested
We’re officially dubbing 2012 the year of “The Miley.” After the pop star created a frenzy with her super-short blonde ‘do, several stars ran to their stylists for a similar look. And for a minute, it appeared that Paris Jackson was one of them. On Friday, 14-year-old Jackson took to Instagram to flaunt her new look. “Okay and what about this one…? since everyone seems to hate the first one,” she wrote along with a pic of her lighter, shorter style. It’s a major makeover for the teen, so when we saw the picture we were worried she’d regret dramatically chopping off her long locks. But it turns out, her new ‘do is actually a wig! The producer of Jackson’s upcoming film, Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, confirmed to the Huffington Post that the actress was just playing dress-up on set.

Unforgettable lawman Dylan Walsh is keeping busy between seasons by seeing how “the other half” lives, playing a serial killer on CBS’ CSI. Joining Walsh in the episode — the tone of which, I hear, is “dark as the darkest night” — is General Hospital alum Sarah Joy Brown. The set-up for this, Season 13′s eighth episode: The discovery of a mass grave in the Nevada desert suggests the work of Seattle serial killer Tom Cooley, a longtime nemesis of Elisabeth Shue’s CSI Julie Finlay. While it’s not clear if Walsh’s character and Cooley are one and the same, Brown is guest-starring as Karen, the wife of a Seattle cop who is questioned about her relationship with Tom, whose best friend she dated in high school.
