Mike Tyson is sporting a neck brace and a significant scar after undergoing surgery to fix a degenerated disc. The boxer, 46, showed up to a charity auction held by the World Boxing Council and Hublot Watches in Las Vegas with the large scar on his neck.It has since emerged that Tyson recently went under the knife and had titanium pins inserted to support his neck as a result of an old spinal injury which had been causing him pain. A representative insists Tyson is enjoying a speedy recovery, saying, "It's a very common surgery, especially for athletes. He feels great... just has to wear the neck brace to keep everything stable for the next three weeks." On another note, "Iron Mike" Tyson is learning once again that you can't escape your past, now that all of New Zealand has slammed the door in his face. Never mind that the tattoo on that same face was inspired by the designs of the Maori, New Zealand's indigenous people. And never mind that he was scheduled to appear at a charity event. New Zealand has a policy against welcoming convicted rapists, and so immigration officials canceled his visa. Officials had decided to make an exception in his case, but that decision was overturned at the last minute when the prime minister spoke out against him and the charity decided it would be better off without him.
SAHARA-DAVENPORT.jpg  Antoine Ashley, better known as Sahara Davenport on RuPaul's Drag Race, has died at 27. "Logo is profoundly saddened by the passing of Antoine Ashley who fans around the world knew and loved as Sahara Davenport. He was an amazing artist and entertainer who'll be deeply missed by his Logo family. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, especially his boyfriend Karl, in their time of need," the network said in a statement posted on Facebook Tuesday. Alongside 11 other contestants, Ashley competed for the title of America's Next Drag Superstar on the hit show's second season in 2010 – but his talents spanned far beyond the realm of reality television. A classically trained dancer, Ashley started performing in drag while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Upon earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance, Ashley left Dallas for New York City where he appeared in drag regularly at various bars and nightclubs. In addition to his role on Drag Race, Ashley also appeared in 15 Films About Madonna, Magnificent Obsessions and One Life to Live. Earlier this year, Ashley released a single, "Go Off," which later reached no. 35 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart. RuPaul expressed his condolences via Twitter on Tuesday morning. "Shocked & heartbroken over @SaharaDavenport. Never occurred to me that we'd ever lose one of my girls. I see them as immortal," he Tweeted. Ashley's boyfriend, Karl Westerberg, competed on season three of RuPaul's Drag Race as Manila Luzon. The couple released a cover version of "Baby It's Cold Outside" last December. On Sunday night, he Tweeted simply, "I love him so much." The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Matt Barnes Apologizes for Language He Used While Being Arrested
L.A. Clippers star Matt Barnes is apologizing for calling the cop who arrested him a fa**ot and a pu**y.  In case you're really bad at "Wheel of Fortune," one word is derogatory toward gays ... the other toward women. Barnes says "I would like to apologize for the unfortunate language I used.  I know that certain words are extremely hurtful."  Barnes goes on:  "I meant absolutely no disrespect to anyone.  This comment, spoken in the heat of a difficult moment, does not accurately reflect my actual point of view."As we first reported, Barnes and the cop clearly had beef.  The same officer stopped Barnes twice before and waited nearly 2 hours in a Manhattan Beach, CA parking lot last July for Barnes to leave a restaurant -- then arresting him for driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest.
bow wow and daughter shai Rapper Bow Wow has been ordered to hand over $3,000 a month in child support to his ex-girlfriend.The Like You hitmaker, whose real name is Shad Moss, became a first-time father last year when his former partner, Joie Chavis, gave birth to a daughter named Shai. She recently filed legal papers demanding financial support from the hip-hop star and they appeared in court on Monday to hammer out a temporary deal. As the judge tried to determine how much Bow Wow could afford the 25-year-old argued he currently only earns $4,000 a month from his contract with Cash Money Records. However, the judge appeared to ignore his poverty plea and ruled he must pay Chavis $3,000 each month, in addition to $11,500 in back payments. But Bow Wow won't be struggling financially - he was unveiled as the new co-host BET's 106 & Park music show later on Monday. It is not yet known how much the deal is worth, although the news is likely to land him in trouble with the judge as he failed to mention anything about the lucrative contract when asked about his finances.  The rapper is due back in court in December, when a permanent support order will be issued.

Eric Dane Files Lawsuit Against Rocker Billy Corgan Over Fallen Tree

The former "Grey's Anatomy" star claims a tree on the Smashing Pumpkins frontman's property that was uprooted by storms last year almost killed his then-pregnant wife, Rebecca Gayheart. The actors were at home with daughter Billie when severe winds swept through Los Angeles last November, bringing down a large eucalyptus on Corgan's property and sending it crashing onto the couple's home, which then flooded due to heavy rain. Dane and his family escaped unharmed, but the actor has now launched a legal battle against his neighbor, claiming Corgan ignored warnings about the dangers the tree posed.  He is seeking unspecified damages for nuisance, negligence and injunctive relief. Corgan has maintained his innocence since the incident, calling Dane's claims "patently untrue.
Paris Jackson, Miley Cyrus We’re officially dubbing 2012 the year of “The Miley.” After the pop star created a frenzy with her super-short blonde ‘do, several stars ran to their stylists for a similar look. And for a minute, it appeared that Paris Jackson was one of them. On Friday, 14-year-old Jackson took to Instagram to flaunt her new look. “Okay and what about this one…? since everyone seems to hate the first one,” she wrote along with a pic of her lighter, shorter style. It’s a major makeover for the teen, so when we saw the picture we were worried she’d regret dramatically chopping off her long locks. But it turns out, her new ‘do is actually a wig! The producer of Jackson’s upcoming film, Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, confirmed to the Huffington Post that the actress was just playing dress-up on set.

After five years of marriage, it's over for Two and a Half Men star Melanie Lynskey and her husband. The actress filed for divorce from Jimmi Simpson, who stars on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, last month. Lynskey, who plays neighbor Rose on the CBS hit, cited "irreconcilable differences" in the Sept. 25 filing in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Both Lynskey and Simpson waived the right to spousal support. The couple tied the knot on April 14, 2007. They separated on April 9 of this year, according to the court papers. They have no children. Lynskey currently appears in the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Elementary‘s Captain Gregson is in for a little bit of Roughness. Callie Thorne, who plays therapist Dani Santino on USA’s Necessary Roughness, will guest star on CBS’ contemporary Sherlock Holmes drama as Gregson’s former partner.

Unforgettable lawman Dylan Walsh is keeping busy between seasons by seeing how “the other half” lives, playing a serial killer on CBS’ CSI. Joining Walsh in the episode — the tone of which, I hear, is “dark as the darkest night” — is General Hospital alum Sarah Joy Brown. The set-up for this, Season 13′s eighth episode: The discovery of a mass grave in the Nevada desert suggests the work of Seattle serial killer Tom Cooley, a longtime nemesis of Elisabeth Shue’s CSI Julie Finlay. While it’s not clear if Walsh’s character and Cooley are one and the same, Brown is guest-starring as Karen, the wife of a Seattle cop who is questioned about her relationship with Tom, whose best friend she dated in high school.

The Vampire Diaries has cast Paul Telfer (NCIS) as a rugged hunter who will appear in a Season 4 flashback episode. The character has mysterious, possibly romantic ties to Rebekah.

Shameless has landed West Wing alum Bradley Whitford for a multi-ep arc in Season 3. The Emmy-winning actor is set to join the Showtime family drama as Abraham, a sophisticated gay man who spends most of his time as a political activist. Shameless, launches its new season on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c.

Kassie DePaiva will make “a brief return” to General Hospital as Todd’s ex Blair before the end of the year. The suds vet first broached the topic on her official blog, noting that “there is something coming up on the canvas for Blair.”
