Heather Locklear was taken to the hospital Thursday after a 911 call was placed from her home. The nature of the emergency wasn't immediately revealed. Locklear, 50, may have mixed alcohol and prescription medication. "Emergency response personnel responded to a medical emergency call at Ms. Locklear's residence," Ventura County Sheriff's Capt. Mike Aranda said "Once they arrived, it was determined that Ms. Locklear needed to be transported to the hospital for further medical attention." He adds that hospital personnel are "taking care of her situation." Heather Locklear was in "medically stable" condition at a Thousand Oaks, Calif., hospital Thursday night with her parents at her side. "She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine," Bill and Diane Locklear said in a statement issued by Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center.

Original MTV veejays have book deal
MTV's surviving original veejays have some wild times to share. Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, announced Thursday that it had signed with Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter and Martha Quinn for an "uncensored" oral history of the music channel launched in 1981. The book is currently untitled and no release date has been set. A fifth veejay, J.J. Jackson, died in 2004. The veejays will talk about everything from partying with Van Halen to a disastrous "Paint the Mutha Pink" contest with "Pink Houses" singer John Mellencamp. Katy Perry's dad, Keith Hudson, 'deeply regrets' anti-Semitic remarks in sermon

Katy Perry's dad is super-sorry for making some anti-Semitic remarks during a recent guest sermon at a Cleveland, Ohio church. "I deeply regret the hurtful and ugly language I used in my message in Ohio," the 63-year-old Keith Hudson says in a new statement. "I understand the power of words, and the need for all of us to think twice before using words that hurt or harm others. I apologize for the hurt that I caused my Jewish friends." Perry's dad -- an evangelist who the pop star professes not to be close to -- recently told congregants, "You know how to make the Jew jealous? Have some money, honey." "You go to L.A. and they own all the Rolex and diamond places," he continued. "Walk down a part of L.A. where we live and it is so rich it smells. You ever smell rich? They are all Jews, hallelujah! Amen."

TV NEWS
NCIS: Los Angeles‘ G. Callen and Sam Hanna (played by Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J) will say “aloha” to Hawaii Five-0 — and then Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams (Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan) will return the favor — as part of a two-night crossover event for the CBS dramas, slated for May sweeps. To kick things off, Five-0 showrunner Peter Lenkov says, “Chris and LL are going to come to Hawaii” — where it is revealed that Sam and McGarrett already know each other, having both been Navy SEALs. “There’s a bit of a history there,” Lenkov hints. When the NCIS agents get wrapped up in what Lenkov calls a “really cool, big stakes” Five-0 case involving a biological weapon, “It ends up taking us to Los Angeles,” with Night 2 of the event unspooling on the Tuesday procedural.

Kim Kardashian replaced by dog in Super Bowl ad
Kim Kardashian isn't going to the dogs. It's actually worse: She's being replaced by a dog. The reality TV starlet, who raised eyebrows and more than a few pulses with her Super Bowl ad for Skechers' Shape-Up shoe in 2011, won't be repeating her shilling duties for the footwear company this year. Instead, Skechers is going with a spot featuring a French bulldog.  Kardshian earned negative publicity from her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, but a Skechers executive said the split had nothing to do with this one. "Kim got us more attention than we ever dreamed," Skechers Fitness president Leonard Armato says. "We have to establish Skechers as more than a lifestyle company." The new ad will feature the Skechers' spokespooch wearing the company's new high-tech GOrun shoes and racing a pack of greyhounds. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban will also appear in the ad.
