Milwaukee Judge Dismisses Montel Williams’ Drug Citation
A Milwaukee County judge has dismissed a citation against former talk show host Montel Williams for possessing drug paraphernalia. Sheriff’s deputies found a pipe commonly used for marijuana on Williams during a security check at the Milwaukee airport in January. Williams paid the $484 citation but he disputed the ticket. A judge dismissed the case Tuesday at the district attorney’s request. The pipe tested negative for marijuana. Williams told the newspaper he is thankful that he can put the episode behind him. He says he uses marijuana legally to relieve the chronic pain caused by multiple sclerosis. Williams visits Wisconsin to participate in experimental treatment at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Alleged DJ Megatron Killers Plead Not Guilty
Though police claim that they initially confessed to the crime, the two Staten Island men arrested in connection with the shooting death of radio and TV personality DJ Megatron have reportedly pleaded not guilty. On Wednesday (April 7), Richard Cromwell, 20, and William Williams, 21, were arrested on charges of possession of a weapon, robbery and murder, after Megatron, born Corey McGriff, was shot and killed in Staten Island on Sunday (March 27). The 32-year old DJ and father of three was reportedly on an early morning run, when he was accosted by his young killers. Cromwell and Williams appeared in court last week, where prosecutors accused them of stalking and murdering Megatron, citing surveillance footage of the crime. Despite police claims that they gave full confessions during their interrogations, it is now being reported that Williams and Cromwell have now pleaded not guilty to the crimes. The two are due back in court on April 19.
John Travolta to depict mob boss John Gotti
John Travolta will portray notorious New York organized crime boss, the late John Gotti, in a new mob movie that may also feature troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, producers said. "Gotti: Three Generations," will also co-star actor Joe Pesci as Gotti's close friend Angelo Ruggiero. Lohan is "in talks" to be cast in the film, producer Marc Fiore told a news conference attended by Lohan. The independently-financed film will tell the story of Gotti, the infamous American mobster who became boss of the Gambino crime family and the relationship with his family and son, John Gotti Jr., who himself rose to head the Gambinos and sold the rights to his life story for the film. "This is probably the most interesting, untold story in this country, and what a character to approach and understand," Travolta, 57, told a news conference. Fiore did not say what role Lohan was in talks to play, but media reports have said she is being considered for the role of Gotti Snr.'s daughter Victoria Gotti.
Michael Douglas' ex revives NYC bid for movie cash
The clash between Michael Douglas and his ex-wife over his "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" earnings is back for another, nastier run in a New York court. Lawyers for both sides traded barbs Tuesday over Diandra Douglas' continuing efforts to get half the Academy Award-winning actor's take from the 2010 movie. A New York judge threw out her lawsuit in November, saying the dispute belonged in California, where the couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years together. Her lawyers asked the judge Tuesday to reconsider. With Diandra Douglas looking on, the actor's lawyer noted his recent fight with throat cancer and said his ex "should be ashamed of herself" for seeking more money when she's gotten more than $51 million from him in the divorce and her stake in some earnings afterward. Her lawyers, meanwhile, mentioned his recent purchase of a $5 million-plus home near New York and his children's private schools.Jennifer Lopez is one of the most fabulous looking moms in Hollywood. She has great style, great hair and a gorgeous smile--so it comes as no surprise that People magazine named her the most beautiful person of 2011. Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoopn, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Hudson, Kellan Lutz, Eva Longoria, Ryan Reynolds and more are also in the issue, on stands Friday.
Britt arrested on three charges
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt was arrested on three charges Tuesday afternoon after a car chase in his hometown of Bayonne, N.J. A Bayonne police spokesman said that Britt was charged with eluding a police officer, lying to an officer/hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental function. Eluding an officer is a third-degree felony; the other two charges are misdemeanors. A passenger in the vehicle with Britt also faces three criminal charges. Twenty-three-year-old Jerel Lord of Bayonne was charged with marijuana possession, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental function. Britt is the 10th player arrested since the NFL locked out its players on March 11. The Titans' inability to run an offseason workout program may explain why Britt was back in his hometown. According to a police report, the incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when Britt was clocked driving his blue Porsche at 71 mph in a 50-mph zone. When an officer attempted to enter the roadway to stop the vehicle, the Porsche accelerated and began weaving in and out of highway traffic. The Porsche then exited the highway and was spotted on a local street with Britt and Lord walking away from the vehicle. The officer ordered them to stop and began questioning Britt and Lord, both of whom denied being in the vehicle. At one point during the interview, Lord ran away on foot, but he was apprehended a block away by a pursuing officer.
Jury still undecided on Bonds verdict
Jurors in the Barry Bonds case remained mostly out of sight on day 3 of their deliberations. They never entered Judge Susan Illston's courtoom on the 19th floor of the Phillip Burton Federal Building, spending about six hours behind closed doors Tuesday without reaching a verdict. Except for a couple of quick breaks and a timeout for lunch, that was it. No questions for the judge. No readbacks of testimony. And no clues as to which way, if any, the eight women and four men who will decide the home-run king's fate are leaning. With each passing hour Wednesday, speculation mounted as to whether the jury even will be able to reach a verdict on the four charges: three counts of making false statements to a grand jury in 2003 and one count of obstruction of justice. Following 25 witnesses who testified over the better part of three weeks, the jury must decide whether Bonds is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt on each count. He is charged with lying to the grand jury when he denied receiving steroids and human growth hormone from personal trainer Greg Anderson and when he said that he allowed only doctors to inject him.
