Miami Dolphin Marshall Stabbed
Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Brandon Marshall, was taken to the intensive care unit in a South Florida hospital Friday and had to have surgery for a stomach wound. Marshall's wife Michi Marshall admitted to stabbing Brandon in the abdomen, claiming self-defense.  Michi is in jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  This is not the first incident of domestic violence for Brandon Marshall.  When he was playing for the Denver Broncos police were called three times in three months in 2007 for incidents between him and his then girlfriend, Rasheedah Watley.  Watley was hospitalized for a cut on her thigh an injuries sustained after being punched in the face. But while considered one of the NFL's top wideouts, Marshall's NFL career has been marred by off-field incidents. He was arrested on multiple occasions and involved in other domestic-related incidents between 2006 and 2009. While most charges were later dismissed, dropped or reduced, Marshall served a one-game suspension in 2008. The length of the suspension was shortened from three games by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. This isn't the first time Marshall suffered a serious injury during the offseason. Marshall badly lacerated his arm during the 2008 offseason when he smashed it through a television at his house. Marshall initially said he slipped on a food wrapper but then admitted he also was involved in "horseplay" after news surfaced on NFL Network of an alleged wrestling match involving family members.

The woman claimed Dykstra then took off all of his clothes and told the woman he wouldn't be able to hire her without first sampling her skills. Smooth. We're told the woman denied his request ... left the home immediately ... flagged down a nearby cop ... and filed a police report. TV NEWS
Oprah Winfrey is a woman of many miracles. Unfortunately, the ability to resuscitate canceled soap operas is not in her bag of tricks. The exiting Queen of Daytime posted a video to YouTube saying that while she hears soap fans’ pleas for her OWN cable channel to offer refuge for ABC’s recently axed All My Children and One Life to Live, it’s just not gonna happen. “I understand the loyalty, the sense of disappointment” says the self-proclaimed AMC and The Young and The Restless fan. “But here is the [deep] bone-marrow truth: There just are not enough people who are at home in the daytime to watch them, and because of that they’re going off the air.”

The buzz over whether "All My Children" legend Susan Lucci will join ABC's "Desperate Housewives" is reaching a fever pitch. ABC insiders say that with the soap canceled, Lucci's solid contract with the network continues on after shooting ends in August, which places her in the ideal situation for a move from Pine Valley to Fairview. "Desperate Housewives" begins shooting its next season in July, so that will mean that Lucci would have to play double duty for a month. A representative for Lucci says she's fielding many offers, and an ABC rep doesn't deny that Lucci may join, but does say, "Susan Lucci will not be filming 'Desperate Housewives' in July."

Californication‘s upcoming fifth season is going to be off the hook, foshizzle. Diggs — whose acting resume includes roles in Ghost Dog, Due Date and Repo Man — will play a slightly dangerous hip-hop mogul who Hank (David Duchovny) considers writing a movie for.
