 Barack Obama supporters had plenty to toast to Tuesday night when the President claimed victory over Republican candidate Mitt Romney.  Also saying cheers to the end of a tight election season: Diane Sawyer? Amid the nail-biting unveiling of the presidential election results, some viewers of ABC's news coverage were just as focused on host Sawyer, 66, wondering on social media if her political celebrating got the best of her. Her seemingly odd conduct was even chronicled by the Associated Press, which noted her slow speech and the way she seemed to hold out her arms to prop herself up as the election night results trickled in. Of course, social media outlets lit up with observations about the veteran broadcaster's commentary, which seemed off and, at times, slurred, with co-host George Stephanopoulos. Gleason taken to hospital from game
Former Saints safety Steve Gleason has been taken to a New Orleans hospital after becoming unresponsive at the Superdome while watching Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.  Gleason suffers from the ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He underwent treatment in the emergency room at Ochsner Hospital. His wife reports through the Saints that Gleason is alert and ''doing well.'' In early 2011, Gleason was diagnosed with ALS. The terminal condition causes gradual paralysis. Gleason, once a fearless special teams standout who never shied away from bone-rattling collisions with players much bigger than him, now gets around on a motorized wheel chair.
 Teri Shields, who long exerted an iron fist in guiding the career of her daughter Brooke Shields from the time the actress-model was 11 months old, died in Manhattan last Wednesday after what is described as a long illness. She was 79 and had suffered from dementia, a spokesperson for Brooke Shields said. "My mother was an enormous part of my life and of who I am today," Brooke says in a statement. "I loved her, laughed with her, and respected her. And although she had her share of struggles, she was my mom."


Cee Lo and Woman had History

The woman accusing Cee Lo Green of drugging and sexually assaulting her was not on a first date with the singer -- not by a long shot -- they had a long history together. The woman told cops Cee Lo took her to a downtown L.A. restaurant in July, where she claims he slipped a drug in her drink.  She says the next thing she knew she was laying naked in a bed with him in a room.  Cops are investigating the allegation and the case will be referred to the L.A. County DA. Sources connected with the case say the woman and Cee Lo met at the Super Bowl in February, 2012.  They hung out over the weekend.  She went back to Houston, where she lives, and Cee Lo returned to L.A., but they stayed in touch and dated off ever since.  In addition to seeing each other (he flew her out to L.A. from time to time), they frequently texted and spoke on the phone. The woman sometimes asked Cee Lo to buy her expensive things and even asked his friend how she could get him to buy her expensive things. On the day in question, he had flown her out to L.A.  They went to the restaurant and afterward both took Ecstasy and stayed up all night.  One source says, "No one was unconscious." Cee Lo sources claim the woman fabricated the story because she's involved with someone back in Texas who got wind she was in L.A. with Cee Lo and she was just covering her butt.

After Eddie Murphy got canoodle-y with his hot blonde girlfriend on the red carpet for Spike TV's "Eddie Murphy: One Night Only," there was one question on many minds: Who is Paige Butcher? The 33-year-old Aussie started her modeling career at the age of 13, and got a jump start two years later by winning a CoverGirl model search. Paige has been seen out and about with Murphy for the past several weeks. She has previously been linked to Russell Simmons and Tyson Beckford.
 

Lil Wayne Loses Documentary Lawsuit

Lil Wayne just lost his case against Quincy Jones III over the documentary about the rapper, and even worse for him, he lost the countersuit QIII filed against him. The jury ordered Lil Wayne to pay Quincy $2,195,000. Quincy's countersuit alleged Lil Wayne wrongfully jock blocked the release of the film, screwing up its profit potential. Lil Wayne never showed up in court for his trial. The day he was supposed to testify he was a no-show because he had suffered several seizure-like episodes and was prohibited from flying. As a result, his lawyer was left to show the jury Wayne's deposition, in which he refuses to answer questions and mocks the proceeding.
