Burt Reynolds released from hospital after battling flu

After being hospitalized Friday with the flu, actor Burt Reynolds has been released. The news was confirmed by his representative, Erik Kritzer. The actor was admitted with dehydration before being placed in the Intensive Care Unit. Monday, Kritzer commented that Reynolds was on the mend, saying, "He's feeling better," and predicting he'd be released soon. The name of the hospital the actor was in has been not been released, as Reynolds prefers to keep that information private. Influenza has been particularly vicious this year, though that is said most years, reaching "epidemic" proportions by the CDC's standards.
Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti are splitting after more than a decade of marriage. "We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed," Judd, 44, and Franchitti, 39, say in a statement. After being engaged for about two years, the Missing star and the racecar driver tied the knot in a highly private ceremony in Scotland in 2001. Judd's sister, Wynonna Judd, served as maid of honor, while the groom's brother Mario was the best man.

"30 Rock" may be coming to an end but Alec Baldwin has a very special new role in the works: he's expecting a baby with wife Hilaria Thomas. Baldwin and Thomas were married last June, and Baldwin had told CNN host Piers Morgan that he'd be happy to become a father again. Baldwin has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Barbara Walters is out of the hospital and recovering from chicken pox at home. The 83-year-old host on “The View” is resting comfortably and “getting stronger.” There was no indication of when she might return to work. Walters was hospitalized after falling and cutting her head at a pre-inaugural party in Washington on Jan. 19. The news veteran later was diagnosed with chicken pox, which typically hits people when they are children. The disease can be serious in older people because of the possibility of complications like pneumonia.
"So this just happened ..." That's how Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 31, announced that she's off the market, sharing this ring-centric Instagram photo of herself next to 23-year-old Cutter Dykstra, a baseball player on the Washington Nationals' farm team, and the son of former Phillies and Mets center-fielder, Lenny Dykstra. It will be the second  trip down the aisle for "Sopranos" alum Sigler, who was previously married to A.J. Discala. She and her new beau have been dating for about one year.

Reggie Bush unlikely to return to the Dolphins next season
Reggie Bush is unlikely to return to the Dolphins next season. He has been with the Dolphins for two years and rushed almost 1000 yards, but sources say fans should not expect him to return to the team. The NFL star’s two -year contract with the team is up and he may be a fre agent heading into next season. Bush himself would like to stay in Miami, but he could reportedly get more money on another team. According to CBSSports.com reports it is “highly unlikely” Bush will be back. Even though the Dolphins may offer him a “team friendly” contract, he is more likely to get a better offer on another team. Off the field, the 28-year old running back is expecting a baby with girlfriend Lilit Avagyan. The couple has been together for over a year, and the baby is due this summer. Bush’s baby will arrive around the same time as that of his ex girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her new beau Kanye West. Kardashian revealed that her baby was due in July.
Deion Sanders was a two-sport athlete. Now his daughter is making a name for herself by playing a sports league named after a two-piece bathing suit. Deiondra Sanders, daughter of the Hall of Fame football player, has agreed to play in the upstart Bikini Basketball League this season. Featuring several former professional basketball players including some who have played in the WNBA and overseas, the league is a bit of a misnomer as the players wear shorts and sports bras and not actual bathing suits.Still, it amounts to a little more material than Deion’s famous bandanna he’d wear on his head on game day. And even though Deiondra's father was known for his flamboyant personality including gold chains and exuberant touchdown dances, his daughter's signing with the league didn’t originally sit well with dear old dad. “My dad was kind of upset, but that’s like any parent who just sees bikini league,” Deiondra told Jeff Sammut of 590 The Fan in Toronto. “He thought I was gonna be out there in a bikini. He [saw] a picture of our uniform and stuff like that, so I think once he saw that we’re actually covered up a little bit, he wasn’t as concerned.” Deiondra hopes that playing in the league will put her in prime-time position for her career and for being a “positive voice.” She will play for the Atlanta Peaches. This isn't the first time that Deiondra has been in the headlines. She went on a well-publicized Twitter rant against her stepmother in 2011 and a very public breakup with Quincy Miller of the Denver Nuggets in 2012.

TV NEWS
Thanks to a fictional serial killer and Kevin Bacon, there's a sense of relief over at FOX. The network had a disappointing fall, the new "American Idol" team hasn't stopped the series' slow fade and its highly anticipated new drama, "The Following," got caught up in the discussion over violence in the media that followed the Connecticut school shooting. Early returns on "The Following," which stars Bacon chasing a charismatic killer, have been encouraging. The series debuted last week with 10.4 million viewers, and among FOX's target audience of 18-to-49-year-old viewers, it was the most-watched drama all week. The second episode on Monday dropped only slightly, to 10 million viewers, the Nielsen ratings company said. It was up over the debut for young viewers, including a 13 percent increase among people ages 18 to 34, generally a very encouraging sign for a new TV series.

Scott Wolf has landed a recurring part on Season 2 of TNT's "Perception." He'll play Donnie, an ambitious federal prosecutor who's transferred to Chicago and has a history with Kate (Rachael Leigh Cook) -- a marital history, to be more specific.

The season premiere of "Justified" snagged the show's biggest audience ever. Live +7 ratings gave the episode 5.3 million viewers, surpassing the series premiere (4.2 million) as the show's most-watched installment. The Season 4 debut tied the series premiere for the best draw among adults 18-49 (2.5 million).
