Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler In Stable Condition

World Wrestling Entertainment commentator Jerry “The King” Lawler was in stable condition Wednesday evening in a cardiac care unit in Montreal, two days after suffering a heart attack, the organization said. “He is awake, recognizes family members and is communicating with them,” the WWE said in a posting on its website. “Nothing 2 report on @JerryLawler other than he’s making progress & resting,” the wrestler’s ex-wife Stacy Carter said Wednesday on Twitter. “He has great docs & support. He’ll pull thru this I know it!!!” Earlier in the day, she had said that test results showed Lawler had not suffered brain damage. The larger-than-life figure, even within the flamboyant world of professional wrestling, collapsed Monday night during an event, the show’s producers said. Lawler, 62, was given CPR in the locker room of the arena in Montreal before being taken to a hospital, co-host Michael Cole told viewers of the televised program. “This is not part of tonight’s entertainment,” Cole said. “This is a real-life situation.”

Rapper tweets 'YOLO' just before dying in car accident

Is "YOLO" now being used exclusively on Twitter when people are doing something incredibly dangerous? The acronym, which means "You Only Live Once," is unfortunately proving true for some of the people who use it. The latest YOLO fatality is rapper Ervin McKinness, who performed under the names Inkyy and Jew'elz. His last tweet? "Drunk af going 120 drifting corners #F**kIt YOLO." Not long after he tweeted it, the rapper, along with three other passengers and the driver, were dead, after their car sped through a red light and crashed into a wall in Ontario, Calif. Police say both drinking and excessive speed were involved in the accident, but no bystanders or people in other cars were injured.

Topless photos of UK's Kate draw royal scrutiny
A French magazine on Friday published what appeared to be photos of Prince William's wife Kate sunbathing topless at a private house in southern France, prompting a strong condemnation from the royal family. Officials said the royal family was considering legal action for a "grotesque and totally unjustifiable" invasion of privacy in the same country where William's mother Princess Diana died while fleeing paparazzi. The couple was "saddened" by the use of the photos, which appear genuine, royal officials said. The revealing pictures of Kate in Closer, a popular gossip magazine, were blurry and shot from a distance. The publication claimed they were taken on a guesthouse terrace in France where the couple vacationed earlier this month. The first major press incident involving William and Kate brought back memories of Diana being hounded by paparazzi in France in the hours and days before her fatal car crash there in 1997. Royal officials, who demanded anonymity in line with palace policy, condemned the decision to publish the images. "Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them," a St. James's Palace official in London said. "The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to the Duke and Duchess for being so." The palace official said representatives of the couple were consulting with lawyers. "We feel a line has been crossed with their publication," the official added. William and Kate, now formally known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were touring the Far East and South Pacific to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee when the photos were published. No major British publication carried the photos, including Rupert Murdoch's top-selling U.K. tabloid The Sun, which last month ran photos of a naked Prince Harry cavorting in a Las Vegas hotel room. It is common for women in Europe to sunbathe topless, both in private gardens and on public beaches.

Gucci Mane To Pay For Pushing Woman Out Of Moving SUV
Looks like Gucci Mane will have to cough up some of those Gs that he loves so much. The Atlanta rap star was ordered to pay almost $60,000 to a woman he pushed out of a moving SUV in 2011. A Georgia judge has ordered Gucc to pay $58,161.24 in punitive damages to Diana Graham. The judge also signed an order that will allow the victim to go after the rapper's bank accounts and physical assets if needed to settle the debt.  The incident occurred on January 28 2011, after the "Lemonade" spitter approached the victim at the South DeKalb Mall, inviting her to breakfast. The victim agreed and got into the rapper's Hummer, but after she refused to go to the hotel with him, the rapper opened the passenger door and pushed her out while the vehicle was in motion. Gucci was arrested for the crime on April 8, 2011 and charged with battery; in September 2011 he pleaded guilty to those charges and was sentenced to six months in jail. He was released in December. "This is the last time I think I'll ever be in jail," Gucci told XXL Magazine's website after his release. "It was a time for me to sit back and just refocus the whole way I do things, man. The times away from my fans just made me want to grind, get in the studio, go to my shows and appreciate my job and what I do now." Gucci has spent the better part of 2012 focusing on rap releasing a pair of mixtapes: I'm Up and Trap Back. His next tape, Trap God, is due out later this year.
There was a rumor that Serena Williams was dating Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitriov because they were seen rooting for each other at the Sony Ericsson Open, but with these new pics it is obvious that Grigor and Serena are likely just friends because she is seen getting snuggly with his coach, Patrick Mouratoglou. Patrick has also been coaching Serena since her loss at the French Open. They look quite comfy, no?  The sitch is clearly working out because since they've started working with each other she has won:  Wimbledon, Olympic Gold, and the US Open.

Amanda Bynes in another car accident while driving on suspended license

Amanda Bynes is still on the roads despite having her driver's license suspended, and on Thursday (Sept. 13) night she was involved in yet another car accident -- this time only a fender bender. Bynes was attempting to cover her face while driving her black BMW out of a parking lot on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. She then tapped the bumper of a white car in front of her. Both drivers left the scene without exchanging information. Bynes was charged with driving under the influence on June 5, following her April arrest. And on Sept. 5, she was charged with two counts of misdemeanor hit and run for accidents on April 10 and Aug. 4. She was pulled over Sunday for reportedly driving without headlights, but the officer did not scan her license, which is currently suspended due to the current charges against her. And Tuesday, she was photographed driving around smoking a "drug pipe" and breaking various traffic laws. On Wednesday, the L.A. district attorney asked Judge Marsha Revel to address the conditions for Bynes' freedom while awaiting trial, according to E! News. Judge Revel set a hearing for Sept. 21, adding, "It would seem like Ms. Bynes would need to be here in court on that day."

Katie Couric: 'American Idol' judges include Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, Randy Jackson
We don't know how she knows, but Katie Couric, during the taping of Friday's "Katie," told former "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez who will be filling the panel in the singing competition's upcoming season: Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson. "What do you think about the new group of judges?" Couric asked Lopez, according to a Thursday morning press release from "Katie."  "Randy is! Oh, thank God," Lopez said. "I love Randy. I'm glad he's doing it." While Minaj and Urban had been reported as front-runners for the "Idol" panel, no official announcement had been made as of Thursday morning. Other reported contenders for "Idol" judgeship have included Enrique Iglesias and Jonas Brothers guitarist-singer Nick Jonas.

Michael Madsen released from hospital after Malibu arrest

Michael Madsen has been released from a hospital after being arrested for investigation of drunken driving on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Calif. Madsen's attorney Perry Wander said Thursday that the "Reservoir Dogs" actor had complained of an undisclosed medical problem but has since been released. Authorities say Madsen was arrested Wednesday after driving erratically in a Pontiac GTO. Investigators say in a preliminary test Madsen had a blood-alcohol level of .21 percent, more than twice the legal limit of .08 percent.  Wander said Madsen had been taking prescription medication that could have caused him to fail the sobriety test. It was the second arrest in six months for Madsen. He was previously arrested after he allegedly got into a fight with his teenage son, but prosecutors declined to file charges.

Oscar winner will appear onscreen for and narrate 'Killing Lincoln'

Small-screen adaptations of historical texts can result in curious bedfellows. After all, who would ever have thought Tom Hanks and Bill O'Reilly would share credits in a TV movie for the National Geographic Channel? Alas, that's exactly what set to go down when "Killing Lincoln" airs in 2013. multiple Oscar winner and frequent miniseries producer Hanks will host and narrate the Nat Geo drama, which is based on O'Reilly and Martin Dugard's controversial best-seller about the assassination of our 16th president. Hanks joins an already impressive roster including "The Killing" star Billy Campbell as Lincoln. It's also one of the final projects the late Tony Scott was overseeing as executive producer.
Eva Longoria, Mark Sanchez Eva Longoria has found herself a new man! The 37-year-old actress confirmed that she is currently dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, 25. The Desperate Housewives star is good friends with Extra host Mario Lopez, who wasn't afraid to ask her tough questions and whether or not she's dating Sanchez. Longoria split from Eduardo Cruz (whose sister is actress Penelope Cruz) in June after debuting their romance in February 2011. The actress finalized her divorce from Tony Parker in January 2011 after he was caught cheating. Sanchez has been previously linked to actress Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. He was most recently rumored to be dating Victoria's Secret model Kate Upton.

Camille Calls Kelsey a Liar
Kelsey Grammer will no longer deign to call third ex-wife Camille Grammer by name, and yet he won't stop yapping about her. During a recent appearance on "Conan," the former  "Frasier" star felt the need to clarify that he didn't consummate his relationship with fourth wife Kayte Walsh on their first date, which took place while he was still very much married to Camille.  "Well, we kissed that night, and that was it," he explained. "We didn't do anything much more than kiss for several months. I just wanted to clear that up. She was worth the wait." Again, Grammer was still married to the mother of two of his children while he was locking lips with Walsh, who gave birth to his daughter Faith in July.  When Conan noted that it must have been tough to bide his time, the actor overshared, "Well, for a guy that hadn't had sex for a decade, it wasn't that hard!" Camille, who reportedly walked away from their prenup-free, 13-year marriage with a sizable chunk of Kelsey's fortune, takes issue with his recollection.  "He lied on Conan," she tells the Huffington Post's Rob Shuter. "He really needs to move on." Besides, a source points out to Rumor Fix, after Grammer's 2008 heart attack, "Doctors told him he couldn't have any strenuous activity and that includes sex. So, of course, that would diminish their sexual activity."

Kelly) -- who are all slated to return. Season 1 wrapped in August, and the network cites the show's positivity and "the sisterhood of the 'Hollywood Exes'" (as well as its positive ratings) as easy logic for a renewal.

Daytime Emmy winner Genie Francis has been let go from the CBS soap. “Budgetary reasons” are reportedly behind the firing, though a spokesperson for the series says that the show does “not comment on contracts, rumors or storyline information.” The suds vet first joined Y&R in early 2011 as Cane’s long-estranged mother Genevieve.
