BET Gaffe at Awards

A fan who came onstage to present the award apparently got mixed messages from a tablet and teleprompter. Reading from the tablet, Tiffany Green first announced Brown as the winner. Then, looking understandably confused, she corrected herself based on the teleprompter, and said Rihanna had won.Drake accepted for Rihanna, saying, "Well, this is awkward." But BET later clarified that Brown had, in fact, won. Green tweeted that BET was responsible for the error and wrote: "Bawling backstage." BET programming executive Stephen Hill later took the blame, tweeting: "That BET Awards Viewer's Choice mix-up was due to human error. And I was the human that made that error. I apologize to ALL affected."

Charlie Sheen Gets New Sitcom, Not Totally Losing

Charlie Sheen has reportedly come to an agreement with Lionsgate for a new sitcom, and networks are now bidding on the show, with TBS as the frontrunner. An insider, says “Charlie has inked a deal with Lionsgate Television to create and star in a new sitcom. Charlie's character will be very similar to the one he played on Two And a Half Men, however the show will be a lot racier.” The insider continued: “Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front runner. TBS recently expanded their comedy division with the acquisition of The Conan O'Brien Show after his fall out with NBC. Plus cable makes more sense because it offers more creative freedom.” "Lionsgate Television will produce the show. They have committed to ten episodes up front with the option to pick-up and produce 90 more episodes if the ratings prove to be successful,” the source explains. “This means the sitcom could be on TV for 8 years, which is a long time! It also means that Charlie will make more money than ever before!"

In the meantime, the judge ordered Lindsay to stop throwing parties at her home whil under house arrest and to limit the number of visitors to one person at a time. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner was not happy about the actress hosting a rooftop barbecue at her home on June 12th, telling her, "You are guilty of extremely poor judgment. House arrest is akin to jail."

No worries for those of you who didn't think they would be seeing actress Lisa Edelstein on TV again, now that she's leaving "House"...  She will be back with a great story line on CBS' "The Good Wife".   She'll play a lawyer and born poker player whose sexiness is enhanced by her obvious intelligence. Edelstein's character apparently shares a past with Will. It's unclear if said past is professional, personal or both, but you can bet there will be tensions between her and Alicia (Julianna Margulies).

Michelle Trachtenberg’s career is going to pot. The Gossip Girl rabble-rouser is joining Weeds for a two-episode stint as a low-life hashish-dealing rival to Nancy (Mary Louise Parker) and a love interest for Silas (Hunter Parrish).

World Without End, the eight-hour followup to last year’s The Pillars of the Earth miniseries, has locked in its cast, says Deadline, and it includes Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City), Miranda Richardson (Rubicon) and Ben Chaplin (Murder by Numbers).

Fox News Channel's Chris Wallace says he "messed up" by asking Republican presidential contender Michele Bachmann whether she's a flake. The talk show host posted the video apology after his "Fox News Sunday" interview with the Minnesota congresswoman, who formally announced her presidential bid Monday in Iowa. Wallace said on the Fox show that Bachmann had a reputation in Washington for making questionable statements, noting she had called fellow members of Congress anti-American. He paused and asked her: "Are you a flake?"
