The internet is, ahem, alight today because Snoop Dogg's son tweeted a few pictures of himself smoking weed with his famous dad. Corde Calvin Broadus is 18, aspires to be a rapper like is dad, and, also like his dad, is apparently quite the marijuana aficionado. One photo young Broadus tweeted shows him lighting his dad's bong. Another shows the two of them rolling joints side by side.  So, the family that tokes together, uh, jokes together? Maybe. Not everyone was amused, though. Celebrity Baby Scoop clucked its tongue, calling the pictures "controversial," and HollywoodLife went so far as to call Snoop a "bad father."  After all Snoop, who recently converted to Rastafarianism and changed his name to Snoop Lion, first gained notoriety by spitting heavy-lidded rhymes on an album called the Chronic. Are we that shocked that a man who has so publicly embraced all things sticky and icky would share his passion with his son? At the very least, he's no hypocrite.

Kelsey Grammer Abruptly Cancels Piers Morgan Interview Over Ex-Wife Camille

When Piers Morgan Tonight aired at 9 p.m. EST on CNN September 19, the evening's previously scheduled guest, Kelsey Grammer, was M.I.A. According to British TV journalist Piers Morgan, 47, the Boss actor, 57, "saw a photo of his ex-wife Camille in the open to our show and legged it. Extraordinary. Never had this happen before. . .I had a very friendly chat with Kelsey backstage, He said he was really looking forward to the interview. Weird."  According a CNN source, Grammer's exit was especially surprising given his candid August 26 interview on Oprah's Next Chapter, where he talked about his former marriages, career woes and family tragedies. "No one on Kelsey Grammer's team said anything about not mentioning Camille beforehand," the CNN source said.  Morgan later made a few jokes about the incident via Twitter with fellow Brit Simon Cowell, 52, telling the music mogul, "I suspect Kelsey was watching X Factor in the green room and suddenly felt nauseous."  All kidding aside, Morgan said that while he likes Grammer as a person, "This was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do. I wasn't even going to mention his ex-wife!"

"It was painful to realize that it wasn't going to work out." Whelchel, 49, and Cauble, 61, have three grown children. According to a press release issued by the Hudspeth County Shefiff's Office, the 35-year-old singer was found with .01 lbs. of marijuana and .010 lbs. of hashish after officers pulled over her tour bus and asked passengers to disembark when their dog "detected the presence of concealed humans and/or controlled substances emitting from the inside of the vehicle." Sun's Frye Out Indefinitely with Heart Condition
Suns forward Channing Frye will be out indefinitely due to an enlarged heart, the team announced Thursday. The 29-year-old Frye was diagnosed by the team's cardiologist, Dr. Tim Byrne, with dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition that was discovered during a screening as part of a routine preseason physical. Frye will be re-evaluated in December, until which time he will not participate in any basketball-related activities. No other details of his condition have been released. Frye, who was expected to miss the start of the season while recovering from shoulder surgery, told the Arizona Republic that he expected to miss the entire season but was hopeful that the virus would go away and he could resume his career. He is scheduled to meet with the media on Friday. "Nothing is more important to us than the health and well-being of our players," said Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby. "Channing and his family have the full support of our organization.  His health is our primary concern, and we are committed to helping him in any way he needs." Frye's condition is similar to those that were  responsible for the deaths of former Boston Celtics forward Reggie Lewis, who died in 1993, and former Stanford forward Pete Sauer, who died earlier this summer playing pickup basketball. Cardiomiopathy makes the hard work harder to pump blood, which enlarges the heart and can lead to heart failure. Dilated cardiomiopathy, which is what Frye has been diagnosed with, is more common than hypertrophic cardiomiopathy, which afflicted Lewis. Frye has spent three seasons in Phoenix, averaging 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks. In 2011-12, he posted 10.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.

A judge on Wednesday awarded The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof temporary custody of her three sons, after she alleged that her estranged husband, Paul Nassif, choked one of them last week. A rep for Nassif confirmed the court decision adding that his legal team was blindsided by the allegations, which Nassif denies. Maloof, 51, claims that Nassif, 50, with whom she is locked in a bitter divorce and custody battle, turned around and choked one of the boys for being rowdy on a drive last Thursday. Later that same day, Maloof alleges, Nassif took one boy who was misbehaving during bathtime and "threw him in the corner." Nassif's lawyer, Lisa Meyer, characterized the claims as "gamesmanship at its worst," and said Maloof wasn't present during either alleged incident. "It is a sad day when parents have to stoop to the level of making false allegations against another parent," Meyer said. Nassif, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, filed for divorce in August. He has requested joint custody of 9-year-old Gavin and 6-year-old twins Christian and Collin. Maloof is seeking primary custody.

Paris Hilton apologizes to gay community for AIDS comments

Paris Hilton has issued an official apology for her comments about gay men and AIDS that were recorded in a taxi without her knowledge in early September. "I want to say how sorry I am," writes Hilton on her Twitter, directing people to GLAAD's website to read her full apology. Hilton was recorded talking to a friend about the hookup app Grindr, which allows gay men to find potential partners. "Eww. ... Gay guys are the horniest people in the world," she says after her friend describes how it works. "They're disgusting,". Dude, most of them probably have AIDS. I would be so scared if I was gay guy. You'll, like, die of AIDS." In the official apology, Hilton says she was not directing her comments toward the entire gay community, and acknowledges that HIV and AIDS can affect anyone. Here's the full statement: "As anyone close to me knows, I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community. I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning. I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community. It is the last thing that I would ever want to do and I cannot put into words how much I wish I could take back every word," she writes. She continues: "HIV/AIDS can hurt anyone, gay and straight, men and women. It's something I take very seriously and should not have been thrown around in conversation. Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know. It is so wrong when people bully or put down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that. Again, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart and I feel absolutely horrible. I hope that everyone can accept my apology and know that it is not who I am or how I feel in any way."

Marking her first major foray into television, Diane Kruger has snagged the female lead in FX’s drama pilot The Bridge. Adapted from the Scandinavian series i Bron, The Bridge centers on two detectives from the United States and Mexico who must work together to hunt down a serial killer operating on both sides of the American-Mexican border. Kruger, whose credits include Inglourious Basterds and the National Treasure films, will play El Paso Police Homicide Detective Sonya North, a dogged cop who lacks tact, warmth and empathy.
