French court orders photographer hand over all topless Kate photos
A French court on Tuesday ordered the publisher of a gossip magazine to hand over all digital copies of topless photos of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William, and blocked the further publication of the images. Under the ruling, the magazine Closer cannot publish the images of an intimate moment in the south of France any further, including on its website and tablet application. The magazine published 14 photos of a partially clad Kate in its pages on Friday. The royal couple are currently on a tour of the South Pacific.During their stop in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands, William and Kate appeared relaxed, easy-going, and warm during an informal conversation with NBC News. The photos show the former Kate Middleton slipping off her bikini top, relaxing on a sun lounger and at one point pulling down the back of her bikini bottoms while in the south of France. Buckingham Palace has called the photo spread a "grotesque" invasion of the royal couple's privacy. British newspapers, fighting for their reputation after a string of scandals, have agreed not to publish the images, as has the British edition of Closer which is managed separately, and instead are condemning the photographer. The Sun tabloid screamed: "Find Le Rat" on its front page on Tuesday and said the photographer would be hunted down and faced jail. On Monday, the publisher of tabloid The Irish Daily Star suspended its editor after the newspaper broke ranks with Irish and British peers
Usher and Shakira join 'The Voice'
The Voice is shaking up its judges panel. The NBC reality hit has hired R&B singer Usher and Latin singer Shakira as “coaches” for the upcoming spring edition of the series. They’ll replace Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, who are expected to return to the show next fall. The new additions are part of a plan by NBC and producers to develop an ongoing tent of talent for The Voice that can be mixed and matched as needed. Given the judges’ level of success and tour schedules, it’s difficult to have any of them appear on the show all season now that NBC has decided to run the series in the fall and spring. Aguilera is releasing a new album and going on tour. CeeLo is developing new music plus working on a scripted comedy series for NBC based on his life. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will continue on The Voice this springTurner charged with DUI
Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution and NFL.com. Turner was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail early Tuesday morning, just hours after the Falcons beat the Denver Broncos, 27-21. During the game, Turner scored his 51st touchdown, setting a franchise record. Turner was released about two hours later on $2,179 bond.
Rupert Wyatt Out Of "Apes" Sequel?
It looks as if "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" director Rupert Wyatt will NOT be returning for the upcoming sequel at 20th Century Fox. Wyatt’s departure is reportedly the same reason Gary Ross dropped out of returning for "The Hunger Games" sequel - namely the director wasn't comfortable hitting the May 23rd 2014 release date the studio had already announced. With the 'Apes' sequel no longer int he cards, Wyatt can pursue other projects he has been linked to including the Charlize Theron-led "Agent 13" and "Londongrad" about former KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko's poisoning.Orange Is the New Black

Stone will play a Boston-Italian inmate.

"Dexter" actress Aimee Garcia, who plays Dexter’s nanny and Angel Batista's sister, has joined the cast of Jose Padilha's "Robocop" remake which is currently shooting in Toronto. Garcia will play a scientist who helps put together the Robocop with his creator (Gary Oldman).

Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly announce online political debate
Any observant fan of Jon Stewart’s or Bill O’Reilly’s respective basic cable TV shows knows that these seeming ideological foes actually hold each other in (relatively) high regard. They’re both showmen at heart, delivering a pointed take on the news of the day in an entertaining manner that inspires fierce loyalty in their respective audiences, and they both seem to understand and respect the other’s place in the television landscape. So it should be no big surprise that Stewart and O’Reilly have announced that they will debate each other in what they’re dubbing O’Reilly v Stewart 2012: The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium, or The Rumble 2012 for short. The event will take place at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., on Sat., Oct. 6, at 8 p.m. ET. But rather than broadcast it on TV, Stewart and O’Reilly are streaming the event over the Internet — for a price. Audiences can buy a video or audio stream of the debate for $4.95 from therumble2012.com, which will allow users to watch the event live on Oct. 6, and stream the debate on demand up to three times thereafter. The purchase also includes a downloadable version, available at an unspecified later date, and half the net profits will go to various charities. (You can also purchase tickets to the live event itself from the site starting at Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. ET.)
