Halle Berry Claims Gabriel Aubry Used The “N” Word

The father of Halle Berry’s child is accused of calling Halle the N-word and verbally abusing her on other occasions. This is according to a source close to Berry who commented of the supposed trouble between Berry and Gabriel Aubry. The abuse was supposedly not limited to in person encounters. There are supposedly vulgar and inflammatory text messages sent by Gabriel Aubry demeaning Halle Berry. Gabriel Aubry recently filed court documents seeking more parental rights with the child he shares with Berry. The two have not been a couple for sometime and were supposedly working on raising their daughter together without any trouble. A statement released by Halle's representative said: "Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her.  She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter's father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention." Gabriel Aubry has taken his own steps in protecting his rights as the little girl's father. January 18, 2011 he asked the court to formally recognize him as the father of 2-year-old Nahla Aubry.  He also presented signed  documents relating to her paternity and that he and Berry have joint physical and legal custody of their daughter. wow, this is going to be a nasty drag out fight; didn't see this coming

What makes this latest effort to explain the magic of the man behind "Redemption Song" and "Buffalo Soldier," is that the Marley family is participating. "What made Bob tick is probably unanswerable but viewers will certainly feel that they know him a little better after seeing our documentary. I am grateful to the Marley family for entrusting me with their heritage," Macdonald said in a statement.  Macdonald has focused on fiction films such as "State of Play" and the upcoming "The Eagle" in recent years, but he got his start in documentaries. Rihanna's new single, "S&M," has been axed from the BBC's daytime radio playlist in Britain, and the music video is banned in 11 countries, Britain's Daily Mirror reports.  The song's suggestive lyrics and the accompanying video -- in which the Bajan beauty is seen writhing in latex, tying a man to a bed and sucking a banana -- are already subject to an age restriction on YouTube. BBC bosses have refused to allow DJs on the network's flagship station, Radio 1, to play the song before 7 p.m. A spokesman tells the publication, "We are waiting for an edited version before deciding whether it will be played in the daytime."

TV NEWS
Good news, "NCIS" fans! CBS has officially picked up the series for a ninth season, the day after a record-breaking 22.85 million viewers tuned in for its Feb. 1 episode.  In a statement, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler praises the show. "It's simply amazing that a show in its eighth season continues to perform at such an elite level," she says.

The return of "The Event" to NBC is happening a little later than originally planned. On the other hand, it will last a little longer. NBC says the show will be back on its Monday-night schedule on March 7. That's a week later than what the network initially planned when it laid out its midseason schedule but will allow "The Cape" -- which just had its episode order trimmed from 13 to 10 -- to complete its run. Fans will be rewarded for waiting an extra week with a two-hour episode. It's scheduled to air from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on March 7, giving "Chuck" a week off. yah! the event is back, i was afraid it was gone forever a la flash forward

Ed Westwick is ready to turn in his dapper suits and bow ties.  The "Gossip Girl" actor, who portrays arguably the most popular character on The CW, Chuck Bass, said he's ready to move on from the show. "It's all about the work, you know. The feeling you get when you connect to the work," Westwick says."And that's what I had with Chuck Bass in the beginning -- I was fascinated by him. But now, to be completely honest, I'm ready to do something else. Really ready to do something else."  Westwick has already moved on to something else: a film with Clint Eastwood. He is set to star in Eastwood's J. Edgar Hoover biopic, "J. Edgar," as Agent Smith, a "clean-cut operative with writing skills" who is asked by Hoover to write his biography.

The 23-year-old British actor isn't the first "Gossip Girl" star to express interest in leaving the show. Leighton Meester has said she will fulfill the last two years of her contract but will not stay beyond that. "I think there's that old saying about wanting to go out on top," she said.

The British royal is due to marry his fiancee in April, and executives at Lifetime's network announced plans last month to tell the story of their romance on the small screen.  British actress Camilla Luddington, who was born in the same English region as Middleton, has been cast to play the soon-to-be princess, and Nico Evers-Swindell has been cast as William. The movie is set to premiere around the same time as the royal wedding.  wonder if they are going to get the actors who originally played princess diana and prince charles to reprise their roles?

The last recording by the White Stripes was the live album "Under Great White Northern Lights," released last year. Over the years, Jack White has focused attention on other projects, including the bands the Dead Weather and the Raconteurs, as well as his Nashville, Tenn.-based Third Man Records.
