Muhammad Ali's family came out swinging Sunday to counter a British newspaper report saying "The Greatest" was near death. Following a report in The Sun that quoted Ali's brother, Rahman Ali, as saying the former champ, 71, is "in a bad way" the boxer's family posted a Twitter picture of Muhammad looking alert, wearing a Baltimore Ravens jersey and preparing to watch the Super Bowl, according to the Courier-Journal of Louisville, Ky. — Ali's hometown. After the game, a 34-31 Ravens win, a second photo was tweeted to the same account, by Ali's son-in-law and FOXSports.com analyst Curtis Conway. That one showing Ali on a couch wearing a Ray Lewis jersey with a "Ravens #1" sign behind him. Later, in an interview with the Associated Press, Muhammad Ali's daughter knocked down the rumors, confirming the ex-champ was at home watching the Super Bowl. May May Ali said she talked to her father Sunday morning on the phone and he was fine. The rumors were started by the Sun report quoting Rahman. Rahman, though, said he hadn't seen his brother since last summer and had no contact with the family. Rahman reportedly said the former heavyweight champ can no longer speak or recognize him. He fears his brother may not survive the summer. "He's in a bad way," he told The Sun (U.K.). "He's very sick. "It could be months, it could be days. I don't know if he'll last the summer. He's in God's hands. We hope he gently passes away." The Courier-Journal quoted family spokesman Bob Gunnell as saying the boxer and his wife Lonnie were at their home in Phoenix. “He looks great,” Gunnell told the newspaper, referring to Ali. “He’s having a Super Bowl party." Muhammad Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1984. His most recent public health scare came in 2011 when he was rushed to a hospital after falling unconscious. Muhammad Ali's 21-year boxing career came to an end in 1981 after losing to Jamaican-Canadian fighter Trevor Berbick. He finished with 56 wins and five losses.

Penelope Cruz Expecting Second Child With Javier Bardem
There’s another baby reportedly on the way for Penelope Cruz! The actress and her husband, “Skyfall” star Javier Bardem, are expecting their second child together. The 38-year-old beauty is said to be especially excited about her second pregnancy, as her sister, Monica Cruz, is also pregnant. Penelope and Javier are already parents to 2-year-old Leo Encinas Bardem, born in January 2011. The couple — who starred in 2008’s “Vicky Christina Barcelona” together — began dating in 2007 and tied the knot in July 2010.
Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch Dies | Ed Koch  Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, whose folksy yet firm style guided the metropolis from 1978 to 1989, died of congestive heart failure in New York Presbyterian/Columbia Hospital early Friday morning, his spokesman confirmed to news outlets. He was 88. Koch, who had a long history of cardiac problems, made repeated visits to the hospital in the past six months. His latest took place this week, forcing him to miss Tuesday night's Museum of Modern Art premiere of a documentary film about his life, Koch, which opens in limited release on Friday. What Hizzoner, as he was called, was famous for was doing things his own way. Take his 2009 quadruple bypass, following a heart attack and stroke. Afterward, to celebrate the success of the operation, the notorious contrarian took 20 of his physicians and their spouses to dinner at the Brooklyn steakhouse Peter Luger's – famous for its artery-clogging specialities.

Parcells, Sapp, Carter elected to Hall

Coach Bill Parcells, Warren Sapp, Cris Carter, Jonathan Ogden and Larry Allen were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. Carter played 16 seasons, becoming only the second player in NFL history to reach 1,000 receptions in a career. He caught at least 70 passes in 10 seasons, and totaled 130 touchdown receptions from 13 passers. Allen played 203 games over 14 seasons, spending the bulk of his career with the Cowboys. He played every position on the offensive line except center and was a first-team All-Pro seven straight seasons. Ogden spent a dozen seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, a lineman who led the way for Jamal Lewis to become just the fifth running back in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. Ogden was a six-time All-Pro and was voted to 11 Pro Bowls. Like Sapp, Allen and Ogden were first-year selections. Culp was a defensive stalwart for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1960s and `70s, and also played for the Houston Oilers and Detroit Lions. He started at tackle in Kansas City's Super Bowl win over Vikings in 1970 and was selected to six Pro Bowls. Robinson played on the great Green Bay Packers teams of the 1960s, starting at outside linebacker in coach Vince Lombardi's victories in the first two Super Bowls. He closed his 12-year career with the Washington Redskins. The announcement was made in New Orleans, site of Sunday's Super Bowl. Parcells reversed the fortunes of four teams - New York Giants, New England Patriots, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys - during 19 years as a head coach. He finished with a record of 172-130-1, leading the Giants to a pair of Super Bowl titles. Sapp got in on his first year of eligibility after playing 13 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders. He amassed 96 1/2 career sacks despite playing on the interior of the defensive line, including double-digit sack totals in four seasons. He was the 1999 NFL Defensive Player of the Year after helping Tampa Bay claim its first division title in 18 years.

The actor and comedian and his model fiancée Megan Wollover are expecting their first child together early this summer, Morgan, 44. Happiness is a simple thing, man,” he told the magazine. “It’s having something to look forward to.”The funny man announced his engagement on the Emmy red carpet in September, and told Ryan Seacrest the two got engaged six months prior in San Francisco. Said Wollover, 26, of the traditional proposal, “It wasn’t anything crazy. He was on bended knee and everything.”

'Warm Bodies' alive and well with $20 million
The love-struck zombies of “Warm Bodies” swarmed the box office on Super Bowl weekend with a $20 million opening. The film is about a zombie whose love for a human redeems him. Lionsgate, which also released the “Twilight” saga, is calling it a “rom-zom-com” for its mix of humor, romance and the supernatural. Action films continued to fare poorly in 2013, as Sylvester Stallone’s “Bullet to the Head” opened with just $4.5 million.
1. Warm Bodies – $20 million
2. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters – $9.2 million
3. Silver Linings Playbook – $8.1 million
4. Mama – $6.7 million
5. Zero Dark Thirty – $5.3 million
Donald Faison and Cacee Cobb attend an after party celebrating the press night performance of ‘All New People’ at St Martin’s Lane Hotel in London on February 28, 2012 Pregnancy may be more fun the second time around for Jessica Simpson, as the fashion mogul’s best friend, Cacee Cobb, is also expecting a baby! Cacee, who married “The Exes“ star Donald Faison in December after seven years together (Jessica, whose then-secret second baby bump was already beginning to show, was a bridesmaid at the happy event), has announced she and her husband are expecting their first child together. “Looks like @donald_faison and I are going to have a little stormtrooper of our own!” she Tweeted, adding a link to a photo of a baby onesie featuring a tiny Star Wars stormtrooper. Jessica quickly took to Twitter to comment her pal’s baby news, Tweeting, “BF+BF = future BFF’s!!” Donald’s longtime best friend (and former “Scrubs” co-star) Zach Braff, replied to the baby news on Twitter – adding a humorous twist.
“@donald_faison and I are having a baby!” he Tweeted. “(@caceecobb will provide the necessary assistance.)” This will be Cacee’s first child and Donald’s fifth (he has a son from a prior relationship and three kids with ex-wife Lisa Askey).

Revenge’s Emily VanCamp To Star In Captain America Sequel
Emily VanCamp is about to take a giant leap from major small screen success to a huge big screen blockbuster franchise. The “Revenge” star, 26, has landed the coveted female lead role (love interest to Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers) in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”  The actress will play Sharon Carter (niece of Peggy Carter – played by Hayley Atwell in the first film).  Other actresses previously reported to be in the mix for the role of Sharon include “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke, “Downton Abbey’s” Jessica Brown Findlay, “Community” star Alison Brie and “I Am Number Four’s” Teresa Palmer. As previously reported, Frank Grillo – best known for roles in “The Grey” and “Warrior” – will square off against Chris Evans as the superhero film’s villain. The actor (who was recently seen on the big screen in “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Gangster Squad”) will play Crossbones, the leader of New York City’s Savage Crims gang, who then joins forces with the Red Skull. Also appearing in the Marvel sequel are Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Mackie, who is playing The Falcon. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” hits theaters on April 4, 2014.
Christina Ricci Is Engaged Christina Ricci's happy secret has been confirmed – she's engaged! The actress, 32, who has been wearing ring finger bling since October, is headed to the altar with James Heerdegen. Heerdegen is a camera technician and met Ricci when the two were working on ABC's former TV series Pan-Am. Their relationship was first public last February.

Frank Ocean: I Won’t Pursue Criminal Charges Against Chris Brown

Frank Ocean says he won’t pursue criminal charges against Chris Brown, who is alleged to have punched Ocean in a recent fight. “As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man,” the R&B star wrote on his Tumblr page Saturday. “But as a man I am not a killer. I’m an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit.” Brown remained under investigation for his role in a fight outside a West Hollywood recording studio on Jan. 27, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said. Witnesses told deputies that Brown punched Ocean during an argument over a parking space. Ocean later tweeted that he “got jumped by Chris and a couple guys” and suffered a finger cut. Brown has not commented on the allegation. Whitmore said Ocean had said he “desired prosecution.” He said the investigation was continuing because Ocean has not told authorities that he’s had a change of heart. “It’s ongoing until an official statement is made to us,” Whitmore said. Brown, 23, remains on probation for attacking Rihanna on the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards and is due back in court on Feb. 6 to update a judge on his progress. Ocean is scheduled to perform at the Grammys on Feb. 10, where he’s up for six awards including album of the year.

Van Exel's son gets 60-year sentence

A Texas jury sentenced the son of former NBA player Nick Van Exel to 60 years in prison Friday in the shooting death of a longtime friend. Nickey Maxwell Van Exel, 22, received the punishment after his father wept on the witness stand and apologized to the family of the victim, Bradley Bassey Eyo. The same jury in Dallas County in North Texas found the younger Van Exel guilty of murder on Thursday.
Prosecutors had sought a capital murder conviction. Nickey Van Exel fatally shot Eyo in December 2010 and dumped his body at Lake Ray Hubbard on the eastern outskirts of Dallas. His attorney had said the two were playing with a shotgun at Nickey Van Exel's Garland home and that Van Exel didn't know the gun was loaded. Nick Van Excel, who played 13 seasons in the NBA including a stint with the Dallas Mavericks and is now a player development instructor for the Atlanta Hawks, testified about the happy times he and his son spent together, including with Eyo. He recalled the time that he took his son and Eyo to a 2006 NBA Finals game in Miami between the Heat and Mavericks. The elder Van Exel broke down at one point while speaking in court. He then apologized to Eyo's family. ''I'm really sorry to the Eyo family. Nobody should have to go through something like this. Nobody,'' he said, as he looked at Eyo's family members who were in the courtroom.
Yet another housewife's marriage is on the rocks. Dina Manzo, who starred alongside older sister Caroline on the first one and a half seasons of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," has separated from husband Tommy after seven years of marriage. The interior decorator and Project Ladybug founder, 40, broke the news on Twitter past midnight on Saturday (Feb. 2). "My secret...I have been separated since October, my heart hurts but Tommy & I will always share a very special love," she wrote to her nearly 300,000 followers. "So grateful for the support of my loved ones during this time, especially my spiritual friends. You know who u are xoxo." Dina married her brownstone co-owner Tommy -- the younger brother of Albert Manzo, himself married to Caroline -- back in 2005. She has a daughter, 17-year-old Lexi, from her first marriage to George Hadjiapostoli. Dina also acknowledged Lexi in her Tweet: "And of course my biggest supporter Lexi, Tommy adores her & they will remain close."
