Authorities to release 911 call from Demi Moore's home
Authorities are set to release a 911 call made from Demi Moore’s home earlier this week. The Los Angeles Times says the Los Angeles city attorney’s office has recommended that certain portions of the call — such as personal information about her medical condition and medications – be deleted to comply with federal privacy laws. City attorney’s office spokesman Frank Mateljan tells the Times that the office has reviewed the tape and has made certain recommendations. Moore had what appeared to be a seizure before the 911 call was placed. A spokeswoman for Moore said Tuesday that the actress is seeking professional help to treat her exhaustion and improve her health. Publicist Carrie Gordon says the decision is due to the stresses in Moore’s life, and she looks forward to getting well.Drew Carey & Fiancée Nicole Jaracz Call Off Engagement
It's over for Drew Carey and his longtime fiancée. The Price Is Right host and Nicole Jaracz have ended their nearly five-year relationship. Carey, 53, and Jaracz announced their engagement in Oct. 2007. At the time, Jaracz had recently graduated from culinary school. Alias co-star Kevin Weisman is joining the cast of NBC’s upcoming Awake in a recurring role as a mysterious character called Mr. Blonde. The sinister Mr. Blonde will haunt Detective Britton (Jason Isaacs), playing a role in both of his parallel worlds. A man with unclear motives, it seems Mr. Blonde has revealing information about the car accident that changed Britton’s life. Since his role as tech geek Marshall Flinkman on ABC’s Alias, Weisman has appeared in episodes of NBC’s Chuck, Fox’s Fringe and Human Target.
CBS will debut its eighth Jesse Stone TV-movie, Benefit of the Doubt, on Sunday, May 20 at 9/8c. Tom Selleck, of course, returns as the titular police chief.
A fan favorite from NBC’s Cheers is coming to CBS’ The Good Wife. Beatrice “Bebe” Neuwirth — who played Dr. Lilith Sternin on the long-running comedy Cheers and also appeared on its spinoff Frasier — has signed up for a recurring role on the legal drama. The actress and singer will play Judge Friend, described as a sexy woman with a stern manner and little patience for joking around. She’s assigned to a case involving a battle for control of a large equity group and is placed in a rather awkward position when the top witnesses for both sides appear to be totally guilty of perjury.
Australian actor Tim Phillipps — who on Once Upon a Time played Cinderella’s prince — has booked a potentially recurring role on The CW’s Secret Circle. He’ll first appear in Episode 16 as a wealthy, spontaneous, mystery man who sails into Chance Harbor on his yacht.
Fans of One Life to Live‘s “Jolie” (aka John/Natalie) may want to sit down for this: Michael Easton apparently spoke way too soon at a recent fan event, where he teased a May Sweeps appearance on General Hospital by his longtime leading lady, Melissa Archer. “Despite us loving [John and Natalie], there are no immediate plans to bring her to Port Charles,” a rep for GH.
