Kobe Bryant to pay $75 million in divorce
Los Angeles Lakers All-Star guard Kobe Bryant will likely be on the hook for $75 million or more in a divorce settlement with his wife, Vanessa, because he did not have a prenuptial agreement. The couple announced that they were filing for divorce in December. The apparent lack of a prenuptial agreement -- coupled with 10 years of marriage -- will significantly increase the size of Vanessa Bryant's divorce settlement with Kobe Bryant, legal experts said. Estimates put Kobe Bryant's net worth at $150 million. Vanessa Bryant will probably receive at least $75 million in addition to ongoing spousal and child support. Two of the couple's three homes have already been signed over to Vanessa. The couple has two daughters, ages 8 and 5.
Heather Locklear And Jack Wagner to Appear in Court
Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner have been ordered to appear at the L.A. City Attorney's Office for a hearing ... which will determine if either or both get charged with criminal battery after a blow-out fight. Law enforcement sources say the LAPD has prepared a file on the fight between Heather and Jack that occurred in late December at Jack's San Fernando Valley home. Cops were called to the home after Heather and Jack allegedly got physical with each other during a heated argument. As one law enforcement source said, "She lost it on him and he retaliated." When cops arrived ... neither Heather nor Jack wanted to press charges, but the file was still sent over to the City Attorney for review. Heather and Jack now must go to an office hearing, an informal talk in which prosecutors hear out both sides and then decide if the matter should be dropped or prosecuted.

Pilar Sanders filed new court documents in her divorce from Deion Sanders -- claiming the NFL star is a narcissistic "bully" who cheated on her with multiple people. In the docs, Pilar states her husband of 12 years "has been guilty of unkind, uncaring, insensitive, cruel and unusual treatment of [Pilar] ... as well as physical, mental and emotional abuse of [Pilar] and the parties' children." Pilar says the divorce should be granted on grounds of "mental, emotional and physical abandonment." Pilar adds, "[Deion] committed numerous acts of adultery ... on numerous occasions throughout the marriage." Just to be clear, she adds, "[Deion] voluntarily had sexual intercourse with others who were not his spouse." She adds, "[Deion] is a bully" ... who "suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder, needs a full psychological evaluation." In the docs, filed today in Texas, Pilar claims Deion also needs a parenting coach to teach him how to be a better father. Pilar claims the judge should throw out their prenup ... and award Pilar a lion's share of the estate ... because she feels she was duped into signing the deal while under duress. Pilar requests sole legal custody of the couple's three mutual children ... claiming Deion is a bad, absentee father. Pilar is also asking for exclusive access to the couple's mega-mansion in Texas.

Mark Wahlberg is used to playing a tough guy in films like The Fighter, but he wound up on the defensive after saying he could have overpowered the 9/11 terrorists. "If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did," the actor, 40, told Men's Journal. "There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'" After criticism from 9/11 widows and others, Wahlberg issued a statement saying it was a "ridiculous" choice to even speculate about how he might have handled the situation. "To suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible," the Contraband star said. "I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive. It was certainly not my intention." Deena Burnett-Bailey, whose husband, Thomas Burnett, was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93, had blasted Wahlberg's original comments as "grandstanding."

Despite offers from clubs around the world, David Beckham isn't leaving – the soccer superstar has signed a deal to extend his contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy for another two years, the Major League Soccer team announced. "I've seen firsthand how popular soccer is now in the States, and I'm as committed as ever to growing the game here," Beckham, 36, said about the deal in a statement on his team's website. While details of his new contract were not released, published reports say it added up to $15 million, decidedly less than the 18-month, $18.7-million deal the wealthy Qatari owners of French club Paris-St. Germain were willing to offer – but, Beckham also said, his wife Victoria and their three sons and a daughter played a deciding factor to remain in Southern California. "This was an important decision for me," Beckham said in his statement. "My family and I are incredibly happy and settled in America." General manager and head coach Bruce Arena said, "I am thrilled that David has chosen to re-join the Galaxy, especially as he had numerous options where he could continue his career.
