Zsa Zsa Gabor: Complications may mean more surgery
On Saturday (Oct. 8), Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery when an infection caused a feeding tube in her stomach to come loose. Although previous reports had the 94-year-old actress mending well, her publicist on Tuesday (Oct. 11) said Gabor may need to undergo further surgery. Gabor's representative, John Blanchette, tells the Los Angeles Times that the new feeding tube is leaking and may need to be re-attached or replaced, extending her stay in the hospital.Omarosa's Brother Murdered in Lover's Quarrel
The brother of Celebrity Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault was murdered in a lover's quarrel in Youngstown, Ohio. Jack Manigault, 40, received several gunshots, including a fatal wound to the head, after his home was broken into by Marco Cardenas, 22, say police. Manigault was asleep at the time with a woman who was formerly the girlfriend of the alleged assailant. Two children were also in the house. A statement released by Omarosa Manigault through her Washington publicist said: "We thank everyone for their amazing outpouring of support surrounding the tragic death of my brother Jack. ... Right now it is an extremely difficult time and we ask that you allow family privacy to grieve and make all necessary arrangements." Shortly after the incident police arrested Cardenas, who is currently on two-year probation in a December 2009 case of felony breaking and entering. Jack Manigault had a prison record and was sentenced in 1999 to 2½ years for aggravated assault. Omarosa, in her statement, said her brother had turned his life around. "My brother was so special to us! We loved him unconditionally and we were so proud of him when he turned his life around and gave his life to God two years ago," she said.The Internet has been abuzz lately about whether Jessica Simpson is pregnant, and speculation reached a fever pitch after new photos surfaced Tuesday. In the pictures, Simpson, who is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, is wearing a baggy black top and carrying a large handbag to partially cover her midsection. She was photographed at LAX after a trip home to her native Texas for a work commitment. Her reps haven't responded to the rumors, leaving fans to study the photos to decide for themselves if Simpson is, indeed, expecting. A bit actor who appeared in the first "Austin Powers" movie is suspected in the death of his cellmate at the California prison where he is serving a life sentence, corrections officials said Tuesday. Joseph Son , 40, wore a bowler hat and played one of Dr. Evil's henchmen, named Random Task, in 1997's "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery." He also was a mixed martial arts fighter who appeared in several other movies or videos in the 1990s, according to his Hollywood biography. He arrived at Wasco State Prison in the state's Central Valley on Sept. 16 after he was sentenced in Orange County for the 1990 gang rape of a Southern California woman. The dead inmate was a parole violator serving a new two-year sentence from San Luis Obispo County for failing to register as a sex offender. He was found dead in the cell he shared with Son before 6 p.m. Monday. HBO gets Matt Damon-Michael Douglas Liberace pic
HBO Films is making Michael Douglas into Liberace. The "Wall Street" actor will star as the flamboyant pianist in "Behind the Candelabra" with Steven Soderbergh directing. Matt Damon will play Scott Thorson, Liberace's live-in lover. Initially, executive producer Jerry Weintraub figured it'd be a theatrical release, but he changed his mind after working with HBO on a documentary -- "His Way" -- about him. "We've been working on it for a very long time," Weintraub said. "And usually those are the best ones -- the ones you work on the longest." Indeed, Douglas's interest in the project was reported in 2009. But in 2010, the actor was diagnosed as having throat cancer and all his projects were put on hold.

Actress and filmmaker Penny Marshall, who transitioned from her role as tough-talking Laverne in hit TV show "Laverne and Shirley" to become a pioneering female director, is releasing a memoir about her rise in Hollywood. Marshall, 68, has sold the rights to her autobiography, called "My Mother Was Nuts," directly to Amazon.com Inc, her agent Dan Strone said. The book will discuss her former 10-year marriage to fellow director Rob Reiner, her friendships with John Belushi and Art Garfunkel, and her battle with brain and lung cancer in 2009. "People have always asked me how I got from the Bronx to Hollywood, so I thought it was time to tell how it all happened. I have had many lives (not in the Shirley MacLaine sense) and you will hear about them all ... Just don't expect any recipes ... I don't cook," Marshall said in the statement. Larry King has booked Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp for a rare sit-down. The CNN personality's interview with Depp, who stars in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's The Rum Diary, is slated to air Sunday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. on the cable news network. King made the announcement on his official Twitter account on Tuesday morning, tweeting a photo of he and Depp during their interview: "Excited to announce my next special: an interview with Johnny Depp!"
The season finale of Terra Nova has been scheduled for Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. and will be a two-hour episode, like the series opener.
The annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show will air on November 29 on CBS, and the show’s performers have been revealed. The lingerie show, which will feature such supermodels as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr, will have some high-profile artists to add to its appeal. NBC is giving Harry's Law a vote of confidence. The Kathy Bates-led legal drama has been given an order of six additional scripts for its second season. When the hourlong series launched last year, it was a midseason replacement, airing for 13 episodes.
