Lindsay Lohan sported a new accessory Wednesday after a judge revoked her probation: Handcuffs. The actress was taken into custody and escorted from a hearing after Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked her probation because she was ousted from a community service assignment at a women's shelter. "There has been violation after violation," Sautner said. Bail was set at $100,000. Lohan's spokesman Steve Honig said it was immediately posted and the actress was later released from Airport Courthouse. "We're dealing with someone on probation," said Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley. "Most people on probation don't always do things perfectly." A city prosecutor recommended jail time, but Sautner set a Nov. 2 hearing to decide whether Lohan should serve another stint behind bars, where she has been sent four previous times only to be released early due to jail overcrowding. "If jail meant something in the state of California now, maybe I'd put her in jail," Sautner said.

'Happy Days' Cast Suffers Setback in $10 Million Lawsuit Against CBS
Cast members of Happy Days have suffered a setback in their $10 million lawsuit over merchandising revenue from the hit sitcom. A Los Angeles judge on Wednesday threw out a claim that CBS committed fraud by shortchanging them money from slot machines featuring their faces and other consumer products that have been licensed over the years. Jon Pfeiffer, attorney for the actors, said his clients intend to press forward with the suit. In April, the group sued CBS for $10 million claiming they never received revenue statements related to merchandising from the 1974-1984 series, and that CBS never intended to pay them. The actors say their contracts granted them 5% of net proceeds, or 2 1/2% if their images were used in a group.
Matt Damon to make directorial debut with small-town drama co-written with John Krasinski
Matt Damon has been saying for a while now that he’s dying to direct a movie, and given that he’s worked with some of the best filmmakers alive (Steven Spielberg, Steven Soderbergh, and Clint Eastwood, to name just three), it’s easy to understand why. Now he’s finally ready to put everything he’s learned to work. Damon is set to direct an as-yet-untitled drama he has co-written with The Office star John Krasinski. Damon will star as a salesman who arrives in a small town only to have his whole life called into question. Krasinski came up with the story idea and developed it with A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius author Dave Eggers (who co-wrote the screenplay for the 2009 film Away We Go, which Krasinski starred in). Krasinski pitched the idea to Damon, who agreed to co-write it with him and to direct it. Damon is also attached to direct Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses, about a criminal on the lam with his daughter, the project with Krasinski will be his directorial debut.Lindsay Lohan sported a new accessory Wednesday after a judge revoked her probation: Handcuffs. Former 'Hills' staffer sues MTV for sexual harassment, forced drug use
A fomer field clearance coordinator and production coordinator for the MTV reality series filed suit against the network and New Remote Productions Tuesday, claiming that she had been sexually harassed, was pressured to smoke drugs, was denied meal and rest breaks, and finally was denied overtime and other pay. According to Eliza Sproul's suit, the problems began during a May 2010 trip to film the series in Costa Rica. The suit claims that, during the trip, "Ms. Sproul was sexually harassed and knowingly placed in dangerous situations that endangered her safety." Sproul says that she was paired with a local resident, Andres, whom MTV had hired, and Andres immediately set to hitting on her and pressuring her to smoke marijuana with him. Worse, according to the suit, the crew members showed no sympathy for her plight. "When Ms. Sproul returned from this trip with Andres, other employees immediately began making jokes, insinuating that the two had engaged in sexual activity," the suit reads. Sproul also claims that the male cast members were "extremely inebriated and made crude and offensive jokes and comments throughout the car ride." Sproul, who claims she was subjected to sexual harassment, a hostile work environment, wrongful termination, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other unpleasantries, is seeking lost wages, compensation for medical bills and emotional distress, and other damages.TV NEWS
