Joe Jackson hospitalized for 'mild' stroke

Joe Jackson suffered a stroke Thursday (Nov. 29) morning and is being treated at a hospital in Las Vegas. Described as "mild," the stroke is similar to two others Jackson has had in the past five years.   Jackson, who famously created and managed his sons' group, the Jackson 5, is married to Katherine Jackson, though the two live separately. He has a home in Las Vegas, and she's in Calabasas, California, with Michael Jackson's three children.

Guy Ritchie Welcomes a Daughter

The producer/director, 44, and his fiancĂ©e Jacqui Ainsley, 31, welcomed their second child together — a girl! — by cesarean section earlier this week at London’s Portland Hospital, his rep says.  “We can confirm that Guy and Jacqui are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well,” Ritchie’s rep says in a statement. The newest addition joins big brothers Rafael, 14 months, as well as David, 7, and Rocco, 12, Ritchie’s sons with ex-wife Madonna. After debuting her baby bump in July — and confirming there was another baby on the way — the couple of two years announced their engagement in October.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have an 'amicable agreement'
Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry have buried the hatchet, a week after Aubry and Berry's current fiance, Olivier Martinez, got into a fistfight in her driveway. The news of a legal ceasefire came Thursday (Nov. 29) via a statement from Berry's and Aubry's lawyers. "From all counsel, the parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter," it reads. What, exactly, the "amicable agreement" covers isn't clear. Aubry and Berry have been fighting over custody of their 4-year-old daughter Nahla, with Aubry recently winning a decision that would prevent Berry from moving Nahla to Paris with the French-born Martinez. The Thanksgiving Day fight between Aubry and Martinez reportedly erupted from an argument over the custody case. Martinez had Aubry arrested -- charges were subsequently dropped -- and Aubry in turn took out a restraining order against Martinez.

Camacho family, ex-girlfriends brawl

What started as a somber memorial for a boxing legend turned into an all-out brawl. A fight broke out Tuesday at the two-day viewing ceremony in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, for former world champion Hector "Macho" Camacho, who died Saturday from gunshot wounds suffered four days earlier. Relatives became incensed when a woman leaned down and kissed the fallen boxer in his casket. 28-year-old Cynthia Castillo, sporting a pink T-shirt with Camacho's face on the front, enraged Camacho's sisters and former girlfriend Gloria Fernandez, 50, by then entering the family's private section. After Camacho's sisters apparently told Castillo to leave, grieving guests watched in confusion as the women began slapping and swinging at each other. After taking the argument outside the viewing room, police were called to calm the scene. Castillo said that Fernandez and Camacho's sisters, Esther and Estrella, demanded that she leave the ceremony. "I went to get something to eat because Machito (Hector Camacho Jr.) told me to, and (Fernandez) came up to me and told me that I had to leave," Castillo said. "I said no, so they threw my plate of food and attacked me, and I defended myself."

Actor who apparently killed landlady not on drugs
A former "Sons of Anarchy" actor who was the lone suspect in the killing of his landlady did not have drugs in his system when he died, according to an autopsy report released Thursday. Authorities had been interested in whether Johnny Lewis was on drugs or medication when he apparently killed Catherine Davis in her home and then fell to his death in her driveway. Lewis had recently been released from jail and had a string of drug-related arrests before the killing. His attorney had speculated he might have been in a drug-induced psychosis when he killed Davis. Toxicology results on Johnny Lewis found no traces of cocaine, alcohol, marijuana or any other types of drugs in the actor's system. Officials checked for anti-psychotic drugs as well as psychedelic drugs. An autopsy report noted that Lewis had nail marks on both sides of his neck when he died and had suffered partial strangulation. His death was ruled accidental because there was no evidence he attempted to kill himself or had been pushed. Police believe Lewis fell while trying to flee the home after killing Davis, 81, who operated a retreat for writers and actors out of her home. Lewis had played Kip "Half-Sack" Epps on the TV drama "Sons of Anarchy" in 2008 and 2009 before his character was killed off. He had been arrested three times during the past year. Probation officials earlier this year expressed concern about Lewis' mental health and his danger to others. A probation officer who evaluated Lewis' case after he attempted to break into the home of a woman wrote that he was being "very concerned for the well-being of not only the community but that of the defendant." The report added Lewis suffered from some form of chemical dependency and mental health issue, and was a transient. "Given this, (Lewis) will continue to be a threat to any community he may reside," it said The break-in attempt came about six weeks after the actor hit two men over the head with a bottle during a fight. Lewis' attorney, Jonathan Mandel, said after his client's death that drugs may have been a factor in the deaths. He said he recommended treatment for Lewis but he declined it.

Mayim Bialik Files To End 9-Year Marriage In LA

Court records show Mayim Bialik filed for divorce from her husband of nine years on the same day she announced the couple’s split in a blog post. She cited irreconcilable differences with husband Michael Stone in the documents filed Nov. 21 in Los Angeles. Bialik currently stars on the CBS comedy “The Big Bang Theory” and rose to fame as the star of the TV show “Blossom.” She has been a proponent of “attachment parenting” and the former couple have two sons together, ages 7 and 4. Bialik has said their parenting style was not a factor in the divorce and she is seeking joint custody of the children. Lindsay Lohan arrest: Assistant Gavin Doyle says star needs help

Following Lindsay Lohan's arrest for an alleged assault early Thursday (Nov. 29) morning in New York, her assistant, Gavin Doyle, is speaking out about the incident on Twitter, urging the "Liz & Dick" actress to get help. "@lindsaylohan after bailing you out last night I HOPE and PRAY you get the help you so desperately need. We are ALL rooting for you. xxx," he writes, later adding, "Life is NOT a movie it's a reality that needs to be faced." Lohan was arrested for allegedly punching Tiffany Mitchell, a well-known psychic, in the face at Avenue and is now facing third-degree assault charges. Lohan reportedly called Mitchell a "f***ing Gypsy," which Mitchell's husband calls "a racist comment." A friend of Mitchell's then lost it, calling Lohan a "whore" and telling her "'Liz & Dick' sucked." Lohan then allegedly decked Mitchell. After Lohan was released from jail early Thursday morning, she was whisked away in a waiting car -- but not before angrily kicking her assistant to the curb, literally. In the video below, Doyle can be heard saying, "No, I didn't!" "Gavin, get out of the car!" Lohan shouts. "Get him out of the car. Get him out of the car now!" "Never speak to me again," Doyle says after exiting the vehicle.
