Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott Is Engaged
Lady Antebellum's current hit "Just A Kiss" was inspired by the budding relationship between singer Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrell, after the pair met on the Tim McGraw tour in early 2010. As Scott, 25, told Billboard, "There is so much excitement at the beginning of a new relationship ... This song is about one of those times when your brain kicks in and tells your heart, 'Good things are worth waiting for.' " The wait ended over Fourth of July weekend, when Tyrell, 24, proposed to Scott as the sun was setting over a lake in East Tennessee, the couple said. Lady A, which includes bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, is headlining their own summer tour. They will release a new album, Own the Night on September 13th.
Nicki Minaj Devastated Over Cousin's Murder
Nicki Minaj is in mourning. The 26-year-old hip-hop star announced on Twitter that her "precious cousin" was murdered. "My cousin Nicholas (also goes by Juse) was murdered last night near his home in Brooklyn, New York," Minaj wrote Monday.Shortly after sharing the devastating news, the "Super Bass" rapper's fans (and stars like Jordin Sparks) expressed their condolences via Twitter.
PETA plans 'Zookeeper' premiere protest
Animal rights protesters are to picket the premiere of Kevin James' new comedy, "Zookeeper," in a bid to persuade film fans to boycott the movie over creatures cruelty concerns. PETA members will gather outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for a face-off with "Zookeeper" director Frank Coraci and stars James, Adam Sandler and Rosario Dawson. The protest follows the death of a giraffe named Tweet, who suddenly collapsed and died last year during the production of the movie, according to PETA bosses. The activists also claim elephants featured in the film were provided by a company exposed for its cruel training techniques in a recent Animal Defenders International film.

The Comedy Central Roast Of Charlie Sheen will tape in Los Angeles on Sept. 10 and will premiere Sept. 19 (10 p.m. ET) – the same night that Ashton Kutcher will make his debut as Sheen's replacement on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.
Stephanie March and Diane Neal are both returning to Law & Order: SVU for the drama's upcoming thirteenth season. March, 36, played ADA Alexandra Cabot for seven seasons and Neal, 34, portrayed ADA Casey Novak for six. It is not yet known how many episodes each actress will appear in.
Former Heroes star Adrian Pasdar has been cast on ABC Family's new series The Lying Game. The Lying Game — based on the books by Sara Shepard, who also authored Pretty Little Liars — introduces separated-at-birth twins Emma Becker and Sutton Mercer (both played by Alexandra Chando). It starts out like The Parent Trap: The sisters switch places so that Emma can experience the trappings of wealth while Sutton pursues the identity of their birth mother. But it gets much darker when Sutton doesn't show on the night the girls are supposed to reunite. Does Emma come clean or continue their deception? Pasdar, 46, will recur as the father of Sutton's best friend Madeleine (Alice Greczyn) and her brother Thayer. The Lying Game premieres Monday, Aug. 15 at 9/8c on ABC Family.
Elizabeth Hurley is coming to "Gossip Girl." The "Austin Powers" co-star has signed on for a multiple-episode arc and will play Diana Payne, a take-no-prisoners media mogul whose arrival on the Upper East Side will bring drastic alterations to the lives of the show's scandal-prone inhabitants, particularly the titular rumor-monger herself.
ESPN has secured full TV rights to Wimbledon, ending NBC's 43-year coverage of the Grand Slam tournament.The network and the All England Club reached a 12-year agreement beginning next year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
