Randy Savage DiesWrestler, Macho Man Randy Savage died Friday in a car accident in Seminole, Florida. Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo, says Randy suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 9:30 in the morning and lost control of his vehicle. The 58 year old, whose catchphrase was, "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh" had been in wrestling since 1985. Florida Highway Patrol reports Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median, through oncoming traffic and "collided head-on with a tree. Savage's wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision -- but survived with "minor injuries." The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier in the month. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. An autopsy was performed on Sunday but cause of death is still pending.
Joseph Brooks, 'You Light Up My Light' songwriter, dies awaiting rape trialJoseph Brooks, the man who won an Academy Award and a Grammy for writing "You Light Up My Life" was found dead. Brooks' body was found in his New York City apartment by a friend, with a plastic bag tied around his head, connect to a helium tank. Police are also said to have found a suicide note, though the contents of it were not available. Brooks was 73. Though he had a great deal of success earlier in his life, writing the theme song to 1977's "You Light Up My Life" -- which he also wrote and directed -- Brooks' later life was marred by tragedy and scandal. He suffered a stroke that left him unable to play the piano. And in 2009, he was formally accused of raping 13 women, who he allegedly lured to his apartment and drugged. His trial had still not been set at his time of death.

Oscar De La Hoya: Boxer enters rehab to work on 'issues' and 'certain flaws'
Though you wouldn't know it following his Twitter account, retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya has been in a California rehab facility for much of May. the 38-year-old is seeking help for substance abuse, though the De La Hoya camp remains mum on exactly what that entails. "After doing an honest evaluation of myself, I recognize that there are certain issues that I need to work on," De La Hoya says in a statement. "Like everyone, I have my flaws, and I do not want to be one of those people that is afraid to admit and address those flaws." De La Hoya is also trying to mitigate the media attention of his announcement, asking for "respect and privacy as my family and I go through this process."Evangeline Lilly Gives Birth
"Lost" star Evangeline Lilly, has given birth to her first child..a boy! The 31-year-old and boyfriend Norman Kali were photographed toting their newborn at a supermarket, and though no details have been released about their new bundle of joy, except reports that it's a boy. Lilly and Kali met on the set of "Lost," where he worked as a production assistant.
Russell Brand Deported
British comedian and actor Russell Brand, was deported from Japan after arriving in the country to see his wife, Katy Perry, perform. He was detained due to prior incidents that occurred over ten years ago. Brand posted a series of messages and photos on his own Twitter account. "Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick," he wrote. Perry is in Japan for a series of concert dates in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
Jeff Conaway Not Doing Well
According to Dr. Drew Pinsky, his former "Celebrity Rehab" patient, Jeff Conaway, is not doing so well in the hospital. While he was heading for recovery from pneumonia, he has developed sepsis, which is very dangerous and his condition is tenuous. Jeff needs all the help and well-wishes he can get, tweets Pinsky. A rep for the actor says that it was "the use of painkillers and prescription drugs", not an overdose, that led to Conaway being found unconscious in his home.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Fiance' Split
After a brief engagement, actress Ginnifer Goodwin has split from actor Joey Kern. The former Big Love star, 32, and Kern, 34, reportedly broke up a few weeks ago.The actors were engaged last December after they were set up by a mutual friend.
Tree of Life Wins at Canne
"The Tree of Life," the film starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, took home the Canne festival's most coveted prize on May 22nd, the prestigious Palme d'Or. The film, told the story of a Midwestern family, starting with the father (Pitt) in the 1950s and ending with the son (Penn), at present time. "The Tree of Life" starts in limited release May 27th.
