Image: Lauren Scruggs Lauren Scruggs, the model who lost a hand and an eye when she walked into a spinning plane propeller, has reportedly rejected a $200,000 settlement and is suing the plane’s insurance company for an unspecified amount. The 23-year-old model and fashion blogger from Plano, Texas, has filed court documents in Dallas suing the company insuring the plane owned by defendants Shell Aviation and Michael Shell and piloted by Curt Richmond. On Dec. 3, 2011, Scruggs ended up losing her left eye and had her left hand severed by a spinning propeller when she walked into it after exiting the plane under darkness following a flight to view Christmas lights in the Dallas area.

Rodman broke, extremely sick
Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is unable to make his required spousal and child support payments because he is "extremely sick" due to his struggles with alcoholism and "broke," according to court documents filed by his lawyer. The former NBA badboy owes $808,935 in back child support for the two children — ages nine and 10 — he had with his third wife, Michelle Rodman. He reportedly owes an additional $51,441 in spousal support. But Rodman's attorney said in court documents that the Basketball Hall of Famer can barely afford his own living expenses, let alone support payments. "Respondent Dennis Rodman is broke and cannot afford any additional fees," Rodman's attorney Linnea Willis wrote. Willis claimed Rodman was "extremely sick" and that his marketability was diminishing with age and illness, making it impossible for the five-time NBA champion to pay the $5,000 he owes monthly for one child from another relationship, in addition to the $4,500 he owes Michelle Rodman every month. Willis added the attorneys representing Rodman have been working pro bono. Rodman also has issues with the IRS. He withdrew his NBA pension for far below what it would eventually be worth to pay California taxes and still owes $350,000 in back taxes. He faces a possible 20-day jail sentence for contempt of court if he doesn't pay $860,000+ in child and spousal support to ex-wife Michelle Rodman by May 29. A staple of the "Bad Boys" Detroit Pistons squads of the late 1980s, Rodman was known for his flamboyant off-the-court behavior and ever-changing hair color later in his career. The unheralded second round draft pick out of Southeastern Oklahoma State helped the Pistons to two NBA titles in 1989 and 1990 and took home three more rings with the Chicago Bulls from 1996 to 1998. Rodman was picked seven times for the NBA All-Defensive First Team and led the league in rebounding for seven straight seasons. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in August.

Tim Tebow's photogenic kisser – and nothing more – is taking center stage on a digital billboard advertising Jockey brand underwear and also welcoming the former Denver Bronco to his new team, the New York Jets. "We Support Tebow & New York – Jockey," reads the billboard, which stands on the New Jersey side of the Lincoln Tunnel that links Weehawken to Manhattan.

The Butler
Jane Fonda has reportedly been linked to the role of Nancy Reagan in Lee Daniels' true story passion project "The Butler" about an African-American butler (played by Forest Whitaker) who served at the White House from 1952 to 1986. Other actors currently circling roles include the likes of Liam Neeson as Lyndon B. Johnson, John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Mila Kunis as Jackie Kennedy and Oprah Winfrey will play the butler's wife.

Small Time
Christopher Meloni ("Law & Order: SVU") has score the lead in former "24" showrunner Joel Surnow's semi-autobiographical indie drama "Small Time". The story follows a used car salesman who’s still in love with his ex-wife and has a son who wants to skip college and enter the family business.

'Modern Family' stars negotiating huge raiseThe "Modern Family" leads are about to get a huge pay raise. The series' adult stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara are poised to negotiate their $65,000-per-episode salaries into the $200,000 range when their contracts are up this summer, and things could get ugly. Considering the show's success, they'll likely get a huge salary bump even if they don't clear $200k.

Sigler dating Dykstra's son
"Sopranos" beauty Jamie-Lynn Sigler is dating Washington Nationals infielder Cutter Dykstra, son of former Mets star Lenny Dykstra. The actress has been dating Dykstra "for a few months, and things are going really well," a source said, adding, "I haven't seen her this happy in a long time." Sigler, who is living in Los Angeles, was introduced to Dykstra through mutual friends; Yankees star Nick Swisher and his actress wife, Joanna Garcia. Sigler was previously linked to New York Jet Mark Sanchez and her "Entourage" costar Jerry Ferrara. Dykstra seems very happy with Sigler, who has a role in the Jimmy Fallon pilot "Guys With Kids," previously referred to as "DILFs."

Khloé Kardashian Quits PETA after Flour Bombing of Kim Kardashian

After Kim Kardashian got pelted by a flour bomb, the anti-fur group PETA not only pledged to support the alleged attacker if Kardashian pressed charges, but lashed out at the reality starlet. Now her sister Khloé is fighting back. Once so strong a supporter that she posed nude for a PETA ad, Khloé announced Monday that she's quitting the organization. "I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise," Khloé writes on her blog. "Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior."  She adds: "I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that." PETA responded to Khloé's decision, saying in a statement, "We appreciate that Khloé will remain on the animals' side by not wearing fur – that's what counts. If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn't alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot, or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing. Khloé is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister." Although denying being responsible for the attack, PETA says it would help the suspect if she were prosecuted. "I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior," writes Khloé. "Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions – I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them."
Jeffery Wright ("Casino Royale") will replace Forest Whitaker in the thriller "A Single Shot" at Unified Pictures. Sam Rockwell plays a hunter who accidentally shoots a teenage girl while illegally poaching deer. Trying to dispose of her body, he stumbles on a small fortune and is forced into an atmospheric game of cat and mouse between himself and some backwater criminals. Jason Isaacs and William H. Macy have also joined the cast.

TV NEWS
Time is running out for Terra Nova. Negotiations between the show’s producer, 20th Century Fox Television, and Netflix have stalled, with the two sides unable to come to a deal to extend the series. Although the studio is not yet releasing the actors from their contracts, there is little hope of finding another viable suitor to pick up the dino-drama, which was canceled by Fox earlier this month.

Rachel and Kurt’s post-McKinley fate rests in Whoopi Goldberg‘s hands. Goldberg will play Carmen Tibideaux, a theatrical grande dame and a professor at New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (NYADA) who travels to Ohio to preside over Kurt and Rachel’s auditions — and apparently she sticks around long enough to deliver a verdict: I’m told she’ll appear in roughly three episodes, the first of which is set to air on May 1. (Glee‘s season finale is set for May 22.)

Tennis pro Serena Williams will guest-star in the upcoming fourth season of Drop Dead Diva as a family lawyer representing Brandy Norwood’s Elisa in a bitter custody battle.

NeNe Leakes is fast becoming Ryan Murphy‘s newest protégé. The Real Housewives star — who’s made a handful of appearances on Glee this season — has joined the cast of Murphy’s NBC comedy pilot The New Normal. As for Leakes, she joins the project — which centers on a modern-day blended family of a gay couple and their surrogate — as the heavily recurring character, Rocky.

Bart (The Event, Desperate Housewives), who portrays slimy author Mason Treadwell on Revenge, is heading to NBC’s Grimm in May. The actor will play a Wildermann, a bearded, “Grizzly Adams-type” character, and he will appear in an episode that tackles the legend of Big Foot.

Veteran actor Ken Howard (30 Rock) has joined ABC’s Counter Culture; the show is a comedy about three sisters running the family diner in Texas. He’ll play the working-class hubby of Margo Martindale’s leading lady.

The Fox hit is in final negotiations with Lindsay Lohan to guest star in one of this season’s final episodes. What’s more, she’ll be tacklinga role she was born to play: herself! the movie star-turned-tabloid queen — once famously the butt of a joke on the show — will serve as a celebrity judge at Nationals.

David Spade will reunite with former Just Shoot Me star Wendie Malick in a May episode of Hot In Cleveland. The Rules of Engagement star will play a hairstylist.

Eddie Cibrian has booked a guest arc during Season 3 of "Rizzoli & Isles" as Dennis Rockmond, a motivational speaker who helps Isles let loose.
