Halle Berry does not want to leave the U.S. for France with daughter Nahla because the food is so good over there she wants out of this country because she fears for her life and the life of her child.  Halle is asking a judge for permission to move to France with Nahla ... something Gabriel Aubry is trying to block. There have been and are serious threats to Halle's life and she feels the move is a life or death situation. Robert Hoskins, a mentally unstable man, escaped from a mental institution last week. He has made threats against Halle's life -- specifically to "slit her throat." Hoskins is no stranger to the law -- he has threatened to slit Madonna's throat in the past and was actually shot by her bodyguard in 1995 after he trespassed onto Madge's property. Another stalker who recently trespassed onto Halle's property multiple times has just been released from jail. She is particularly concerned because Starmaps and some Hollywood bus tours literally take tourists to her doorstep. The actress is very concerned that baby daddy Gabriel Aubry is parading Nahla in front of paparazzi almost daily and possibly putting her in harm's way.

Parminder Nagra is ending her marriage. The Alcatraz actress – who formerly starred on ER – filed for divorce on Feb. 1 from celebrity photographer James Stenson. The couple dated for seven years before they tied the knot in Hollywood almost exactly three years ago. Beyoncé and Jay-Z Set to Trademark Baby Blue Ivy's Name

It’s “all Blue Ivy everything” for proud parents Jay-Z and Beyoncé: the couple reportedly filed an application to patent their baby girl’s name last month. Jay and Bey submitted the paperwork with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Jan. 26 to protect Blue Ivy from folks looking to cash in on her famous moniker, and to reserve her name for their own future line of baby products including carriages, diaper bags, baby cosmetics (yup) and other items we’re guessing billionaire babies need. Baby bling? Gold-leaf onesies? Diamond pacifiers? The patent office has already received requests to trademark “Blue Ivy” and have been denying the filings, saying that the name belongs to a “very famous infant.” Among the applicants was fashion designer Joseph Mbeh wanted to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter NYC” for a line of children’s clothing that he was “planning” to pitch to Beyoncé and Jay-Z. While most of these requests are being shut down, one boutique in Wisconsin actually does have a trademark for “Blue Ivy,” and they received approval last August, well before baby Carter came along.

Bill O'Reilly defends Ellen DeGeneres in One Million Moms, J.C. Penney controversy

In a surprising move for the conventional Fox News pundit, Bill O’Reilly came to the rescue of Ellen DeGeneres, who is currently facing heat from conservative groups over her recent partnership with J.C. Penney. On a segment on last night’s The O’Reilly Factor, O’Reilly took issue with One Million Moms, the group organizing a boycott against the retailer in an effort to force DeGeneres to step down as spokeswoman. Fox News contributor and One Million Moms supporter Sandy Rios explained, “It isn’t about Ellen DeGeneres, but it’s about mainstreaming something that is not acceptable to Christian and traditional family people.” “But it is about Ellen DeGeneres, and this is where we run into a problem,” said O’Reilly, coming to the defense of the openly gay talk show host, who has responded to the controversy herself. “If you remember with the McCarthy era of the 1950s, they were trying to hunt down communist sympathizers and not let them work and put them on a blacklist… What is the difference between the McCarthy era communist blacklist in the ‘50s and the Million Moms saying, ‘Hey, J.C. Penney and all you other stores, don’t you hire any gay people. Don’t you dare.’ What is the difference?” O’Reilly, an unlikely champion for DeGeneres, responded, “The essential question is that a conservative group in this country is asking a private company to fire an American citizen based upon her lifestyle. I don’t think that’s correct.” O’Reilly concluded that despite the right to opinion and choice in where Americans want to take their business, the demand that J.C. Penney “fire a spokesperson who has done nothing legally wrong” was against the “spirit of America.” “This J.C. Penney thing is a witchhunt and it shouldn’t happen.”

Super Bowl 'finger' might put M.I.A. in breach of contract with NFL

It looks like the mess for M.I.A. after her Super Bowl bird flip is just getting started. The rapper's middle finger may make her in breach of contract with the NFL. It was midway through a performance of Madonna's "Give Me All Your Luvin'" at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show that the Sri Lankan rapper made the obscene gesture. she may face problems with the league in addition to any potential issues with the FCC. "We do have [safeguards regarding artist conduct] written into their contracts," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello says. When asked by Yahoo if this meant a possible financial penalty, he declined to comment. Aiello did say that the league was not happy with the delay system, something NBC has to guard against such moments. While the network did scramble the image, it was too late. "There has been a delay system in place since the incident with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake," Aiello says, referring to the famed "wardrobe malfunction" in at the 2004 Super Bowl. "The system did not work and that is something we will review." NBC has again apologized for the incident, but it also offered a few qualifiers. "We're sorry this happened," an NBC spokesman says. "It was only on the air for two-thirds of a second. We've gotten very few complaints." M.I.A. has yet to speak publicly about her actions.



Suge Knight Arrested
Suge Knight was arrested in Las Vegas yesterday after a traffic stop gone bad. The former Death Row rap mogul was pulled over at 5:34 PM Wednesday for making an unsafe lane change in his black Bentley. When cops ran Suge's name in the system ... they noticed multiple warrants out for his arrest, stemming from minor traffic violations. After a quick search, cops say they found a small amount of marijuana in Suge's possession. Knight was eventually hauled to a nearby jail for processing. He was released a short time later.
 Naomi Watts is about to become royalty – at least on screen. The actress, 43, is set to star in Caught in Flight, a film described as "a compelling portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales during the last two years of her life."  "It is such an honor to be able to play this iconic role," British-born Watts said in a statement. "Princess Diana was loved across the world, and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen."

House alumna Lisa Edelstein — fresh off a lawyerly stint on The Good Wife — is headed back to court, playing a tough Texas prosecutor in the Lifetime Original Movie, Blue-Eyed Butcher, which is set to premiere on Saturday, March 3. Based on a true story, the TV-movie follows the story of Susan Wright (played by The Beautiful Life‘s Sara Paxton), a gorgeous young wife and mother of two who violently kills her husband (Ringer‘s Justin Bruening) in their Houston home after years of alleged abuse.
