Ben Gazzara, who made a career of playing virile roles on stage, screen, TV and in real life, died Friday in Manhattan. He was 81. The cause was pancreatic cancer. Gazzara's later roles included those in movies directed by his close friend, the actor John Cassavetes, as well as in 1979's Bloodlines and 1981's They All Laughed, both of which costarred Audrey Hepburn, with whom Gazzara was romantically linked. Mr. Gazzara won an Emmy Award for best supporting actor for the 2002 HBO drama “Hysterical Blindness,” in which he played a widowed suitor of Gena Rowlands. From 2003 to 2005, he toured in a one-man play about baseball star and quipster Yogi Berra.In his 2004 autobiography, “In the Moment,” Mr. Gazzara admitted to occasional problems with alcohol and depression and that he’d had affairs with many women, including actresses Audrey Hepburn, Eva Gabor and Elaine Stritch. While making the movie “The Bridge at Remagen” in Czechoslovakia in 1968, Mr. Gazzara said he and actor Robert Vaughn befriended a Czech waitress. When Soviet forces invaded the country, they managed to smuggle her across the border by hiding her in a car. Mr. Gazzara’s first two marriages, to actresses Louise Erickson and Janice Rule, ended in divorce. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Elke Stuckmann Krivat; a daughter from his marriage to Rule, Elizabeth; Krivat’s daughter, Danja, whom he adopted; and a brother.
Demi Moore Is in a Treatment Facility
Demi Moore has not been spotted since a health crisis in January sent her to the hospital, but the actress is in treatment. According to a source close to the situation, the actress is in a facility and not at home still in Los Angeles, as some have speculated. On Saturday, it was reported Moore, 49, checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah the week after her Jan. 23 hospitalization. "She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people," a source tells E!, adding that the actress is being treated for addiction and an eating disorder.
Son of actor Ryan O'Neal gets 16 months in prison
A San Diego judge has sentenced the son of actor Ryan O'Neal to 16 months in prison for his involvement in a drug-fueled, head-on car crash last year that left another driver injured. Griffin O'Neal had faced up to four years in state prison at his sentencing Friday. O'Neal pleaded guilty to two felony charges of driving under the influence and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was on probation for a 2007 when the crash occurred in August. Prosecutors say he tested positive for several drugs at the time. O'Neal missed his sentencing hearing last month. His lawyer Heather Boxeth has said O'Neal relapsed by drinking alcohol after five years of sobriety and was in rehab.Terrell Owens Child Support Payments Reduced
Terrell Owens just scored the biggest deal of his career since he signed with the 49ers -- successfully lowering his exorbitantly expensive monthly child support payments. The former NFL star was able to convince the judges in each of his child support cases to "drastically decrease the amount he was paying." T.O. had originally been ordered to pay between $5,000 and $20,000 per child per month -- and with no new football contract, he was seriously struggling to make ends meet. The new payment plans -- the details of which are sealed -- are way more affordable ... and "accurately reflect the amount of money [Terrell] is making." T.O. was also able to establish visitation in some cases, something he had never asked for before.

Bow Wow Ordered Arrested
Bow Wow has avoided a civil lawsuit for long enough -- and now a judge in Georgia has ordered he be arrested and held in custody until produces documents and information to the other side. Bow Wow was ordered by a Tennessee court back in 2009 to pay almost $100,000 to a tour bus company for allegedly not paying his bill. The company then took the case to Georgia to try and get the court where Bow Wow lives to enforce the judgment. He was ordered to produce documents in his home state regarding the lawsuit, which he never did. As a result, the tour company filed a motion to have the rapper held in contempt. Finally back in October, the judge granted the motion and ordered Bow Wow be arrested and held until he produces the necessary documents the tour bus company asked for. Bow Wow has not been taken into custody so far, or responded to the lawsuit.

As Queen Elizabeth marks her Diamond Jubilee anniversary, she dedicated herself anew to continuing to serve fellow Britons and those around the world who count her as head of state. Releasing a special set of portraits, taken by John Swannell in the Centre Room at Buckingham Palace in December 2011, Elizabeth, 85, sent a message indicating that while she has seen "great advances" since she took over at her father George VI's death on Feb. 6, 1952, she is looking forward to the future with a "clear head and warm heart."
Adam Lambert to front Queen? Not so fast
Adam Lambert has cleared up reports he is the new frontman of Queen, insisting remarks he made about joining the band were "taken out of context." In a recent interview, Lambert appeared to confirm he was heading on the road with original group members Brian May and Roger Taylor for a tour later this year. However, Lambert claims he was actually referring to a previous performance he and the rock icons gave at the MTV European Music Awards in November. In a post on Twitter.com, he writes, "Oooh them clever reporters takin my quotes outta [out of] context... I haven't confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMAs. "That being said, I'm truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions Mr Journalist!!" A spokesperson for Queen's label, Hollywood Records, admits there have been discussions about Lambert teaming up with the band, but no official deal has been inked.
Sean Kingston Latest Celeb to Owe Uncle Sam
Sean Kingston -- real name Kisean Anderson -- stiffed Uncle Sam to the tune of $131,379.51 for the money he made in 2009 ... the same year he released the album, "Tomorrow." The feds warned the singer, "We have made a demand for payment” ... but since he failed to fork over the cash, the IRS obtained a lien on his property ... which means, if he doesn't pay up, the government can go after his stuff.
Willow Smith, the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, tweeted a picture of herself with a bald head. The 11-year-old singer gave no reason or explanation for the new look.
Warren Sapp Behind in Alimony/Child Support Payments
NFL legend Warren Sapp has filed documents to try and lower his alimony and child support payments to his ex-wife, she claims he's fallen behind in his payments to the tune of $728,100! According to court documents filed in Florida, as part of his divorce judgment back in 2007, Sapp was ordered to pay $15,000/month in support for his two kids and another $45,000/month in alimony. But Sapp's ex, Jamiko, claims that since March 2010, he hasn't been following the terms of the judgment. She claims he's been paying random amounts each month and NOTHING at all for two of the months. Jamiko claims Warren's missed payments amount to $728,100 and filed a motion asking a judge to enforce their divorce agreement. In October 2011, Sapp filed documents of his own ... asking a judge to lower his monthly payments.

Catherine Keener has signed on to play Tom Hanks’ wife in Paul Greengrass’ Captain Phillips. The film, based on Richard Phillips’ true-life book A Captain’s Duty, charts his story after he was taken hostage by Somali pirates in 2009.

Al Pacino will make his animated film debut as the voice of the villain in "Despicable Me 2" for Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment. Pacino’s exact role is being kept under wraps, but he’s the nemesis of Gru (Steve Carell).

A start of production announcement has confirmed the rest of the cast for David Twohy's upcoming third film in the sci-fi series starring Vin Diesel. Antonio "L.A." Reid has signed a new contract to stay on for a second season of "The X Factor," days after Simon Cowell announced Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were not returning as judges. Host Steve Jones became the first to be dropped from the show ahead of its second season, while it was rumored singers Abdul and Scherzinger would also be fired. The two stars, who sat on the judging panel alongside Cowell and Reid, confirmed the news of their exit last week.
Kelsey Grammer’s crooked mayor on Boss has a new obsession: Sanaa Lathan.The Love & Basketball actress is joining the second season of Starz’ political drama in the recurring role of Mona, Alderman Ross’ formidable Chief of Staff with whom Grammer’s Tom Kane becomes fixated on. Lathan’s TV credits include a regular gig on The Cleveland Show and an arc on Nip/Tuck as the much younger wife of Larry Hagman’s Texas businessman. Boss‘ second season kicks off later this year.
Selma Blair has been tapped to star opposite Charlie Sheen in FX’s new comedy series Anger Management. The actress will play therapist and possible love interest to Sheen’s character, a former baseball player with rage issues who himself ends up as an unconventional anger management therapist. Shawnee Smith (Saw) was recently cast as his ex-wife.
Tuesdays will be a little less Glee-ful in late winter/early spring as Fox launches a new comedy block that includes the return of Breaking In. The network confirmed Friday that Glee would air a “winter finale” on Feb. 21 and then take seven weeks off before returning on April 10 (at which point the show will air all originals through the end of the season).
Nucky Thompson’s got a new thorn in his side. Boardwalk Empire has tapped Bobby Cannavale to join the Season 3 cast as a new rival to Steve Buscemi’s crime boss. Cannavale, who is coming off a season-long arc on Nurse Jackie, will play Gyp Rosetti, a charming but ruthless gangster who challenges Nucky.
