Natalie Portman married

After Natalie Portman and partner Benjamin Millipied showed up wearing rings on those fingers at Sunday’s Oscars, buzz built that last year’s Best Actress had married her ballet choreographer fiancé of more than a year. According several other sources, Portman and Millipied have made it official, though Portman’s rep declined to comment on the status of her client’s relationship. Portman and Millipied met on the set of Black Swan, for which she won her Oscar and he served as a choreographer. She announced in December 2010 she was engaged to Millipied and expecting a child.

Snooki Is Pregnant
Though earlier this month she denied pregnancy rumors, reports say Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is, in fact, expecting her first child. The Jersey Shore star is roughly three months pregnant, and the baby's father is her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle. The source suggests Snooki is trying to parlay the pregnancy into lucrative marketing deals, it remains unclear how or if her condition will factor into Jersey Shore or a recently announced spinoff show starring Snooki and Jenni "JWoww" Farley. A rep for MTV said the network "doesn't comment on series in production."

Congrats to Diddy for Oscar win
While everyone was excited about Octavia Spencer winning best supporting actress at the Oscars, one hip hop mogul also walked away with an Oscar. Diddy picked up his first Oscar for Executive Producer of the documentary 'Undefeated'. The director of the movie T.J. Martin is  the first African America to win as director for a feature length film.  The Hip Hop mogul won it for executive producing the football flick for best documentary. Movie partner and director T.J. Martin was overwhelmed with the award and forgot where he was. The guy dropped the f-bomb while accepting the award, but rightfully so because he is the first black director to win an Oscar. The film opened in February 2011 and follows the highs and lows of underfunded and underprivileged high school football team from Tennessee.

Oscars Forget Dick Anthony Williams

Each year during the Academy Awards televised show, there is a section of the broadcast where fellow members of the film community are remembered. Sunday night the event honored a myriad of talents, including Jane Russell, Whitney Houston, Elizabeth Taylor, Cliff Robertson and quite possibly my all-time favorite film director, Sidney Lumet. Amid the remembrances, there was one glaring oversight: actor Dick Anthony Williams, who passed away on Feb. 16 at the age of 77. Williams was a fixture in cinema during the blaxploitation era of filmmaking. He played the characters of Pretty Tony in The Mack (1973), Joe Creole in Slaughter's Big Rip-Off (1973) and Preston in Five on the Black Hand Side (1973). Williams worked steadily in television and film for five decades, appearing in The Jerk (1979), Mo' Better Blues (1990), Edward Scissorhands (1990), The Rapture (1991), The Gifted (1993) and The Players Club (1998). Williams was married to actress Gloria Edwards, a fixture in black film during the 1970s, who preceded him in death in 1988. He is survived by two daughters and a son.

Camille Grammer and Kelsey Grammer settle custody dispute

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer and "Boss" actor and executive producer Kelsey Grammer have officially -- and amicably -- ended their child custody battle. The couple have agreed to share custody of 10-year-old Mason and 7-year-old Jude, and the case has been taken off the court calendar. The kids will stay in Los Angeles with Camille, but Kelsey will have "meaningful contact" with both children.

Wade says he apologized to Bryant

Insisting he meant no harm, Dwyane Wade revealed Tuesday that he has apologized to Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant multiple times for a blood-drawing, nose-breaking foul during the All-Star game. The first of those apologies, Wade said, came during the game when he saw Bryant's face had been bloodied. Wade also said he sent the Lakers' star a message after the game in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday night. Wade said critics who questioned why he never offered an apology for the play - the likes of which seemed to be something not typical in an All-Star game setting - simply made incorrect assumptions. ''I don't care what I'm portrayed as,'' Wade said after Miami's first practice following the league's All-Star break. ''It's unfortunate, obviously. I don't want to ever hurt anybody in this game, especially on a freak play like that. It's unfortunate. I send my apologies. But it's not intentional. If it's something I did intentionally, it'd be a different story.''

Malaysia bans Erykah Badu show over Allah body art
The Muslim-majority country of Malaysia banned a planned concert by Erykah Badu on Tuesday after a photograph appeared showing the Grammy-winning singer with the Arabic word for Allah written on her body. The American R&B singer was scheduled to perform Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur, but some Muslim groups said Badu was an unsuitable role model for young Malaysians after seeing a publicity photo of her with what appeared to be temporary tattoos of the word Allah on her bare shoulders. A government committee that includes police and Islamic policy officials decided to forbid Badu's show because the body art was "an insult to Islam and a very serious offense," Information Minister Rais Yatim said in a statement. The photo of Badu had "triggered public criticism that could jeopardize national security and cause a negative impact to the government's image," the statement added. The 41-year-old, Dallas-born singer had already arrived in Malaysia. She can stay as a tourist but will not be allowed to perform, an Information Ministry official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to make public statements.

Madonna camp calls 'Girls Gone Wild' lawsuit 'laughable'
Madonna reportedly did not drop the "s" in "Girls" from the title of her second "MDNA" single, "Girl Gone Wild," because of a legal threat from "Girls Gone Wild" franchise creator Joe Francis. And she apparently has no idea who Joe Francis is. Madge's manager, Guy Oseary, relayed to the site that it's "laughable" that Francis felt triumphant after sending a cease-and-desist letter to keep the singer from performing the song at the Super Bowl. "As for Madonna changing the name of the song to 'Girl Gone Wild,' Oseary says they've been tweaking the album for weeks, and decided to make the word 'Girl' singular because that's the way Madonna sings it in the song." The site also says Oseary pointed out that there are various other songs out there with the title "Girls Gone Wild" (as a quick search on iTunes confirms), one of the more prominent being a Ludacris track from 2006's "Release Therapy," which arrived nine years after Francis' first "Girls Gone Wild" film. Madonna's manager apparently went on to add the ego-damaging info that the "Give Me All Your Luvin'" songstress doesn't even know who Joe Francis is, and is unaware of his legal threats.

Youth coach suspended for calling Whitney the N-word

Youth baseball president and coach John Kelly says he's not racist, but he has been suspended for a season for posting a racial slur online. Kelly has been suspended, but not banned, from the league in Oak Lawn, Ill., for writing, "I'm so sick of reading about this dumb stupid N - - - - - Whitney Houston" on Facebook following the singer's Feb. 11 death. When confronted about the post, Kelly responded that he isn't a racist because he has "some amazing friends who are black." Maybe he's learned the error of his ways, as he's now headed to sensitivity classes.
Danica Patrick Crashes in Daytona Debut Danica Patrick got her first Daytona 500 race off to a nasty start. The racer, 29, crashed her green car on the second lap in an accident that also involved Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Elliott Sadler and other drivers. "Wow," exclaims the NASCAR.com blog. "The wreck was triggered when Elliott Sadler shoved Johnson." Patrick didn't appear to be hurt as her car got struck in the rear and shot sparks before she steered it off the track to safety. "Danica made two great dodges to avoid worse damage," noted USA Today's blog. The crash sent the car to the garage for repairs while the race went on without Patrick.

Barry Sanders getting divorce
Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders has filed for divorce from TV presenter Lauren Sanders after 11 years of marriage. The 43-year-old Detroit Lions great is seeking joint custody of the couple's three boys, aged 10, 8 and 4. The filing, which was made Friday in Michigan's Oakland County Circuit Court, cites a breakdown in marital relations as the reason for the divorce. Lauren Sanders works as a weekend anchor for WDIV-TV Channel 4. They were married in November 2000 in Detroit. Barry Sanders, a Heisman Trophy winner and 10-time Pro Bowl selection, rushed for 15,269 yards over 10 seasons, and sits third on the all-time list behind Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton. Receiver Manningham Says He’s 75% Sure He’ll Leave Giants
New York Giants receiver Mario Manningham is “75 percent” certain he will be playing for a different National Football League team next season. "I'm ready for whatever, man, I am ready for whatever," Manningham told the Youngstown News upon his return to his hometown in Ohio to receive a plaque and keys to the city at his Warren Harding High alma mater. "If it ain't there, it's somewhere else."Manningham went on to say he is "75 percent" sure he will not return to the Giants and will instead sign elsewhere. Reese, at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, admitted preliminary talks with Manningham were not productive and that he expects the four-year receiver will hit the open market. He had touchdown receptions in each of the first three playoff games and came up huge in Super Bowl XLVI, with his over-the-shoulder 38-yard catch along the left sideline sparking the game-winning touchdown drive as the Giants came back to beat the Patriots 21-17. There will be teams willing to pay Manningham more than the Giants are willing to offer, especially considering they will likely have to make a salary adjustment for Victor Cruz, who emerged as a star and supplanted Manningham in the starting lineup.

Nicollette Sheridan wrongful termination trial begins

Nicollette Sheridan and "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry have finally taken their dispute to court. Sheridan has sued Cherry and ABC because she believes he killed off her character after the two scuffled during rehearsals. The trial could last around 11 days thanks to each side's multitude of witnesses, including stars and executives from the series. Initially Sheridan sued for $20 million in damages for sexual and gender harassment, assault and battery, infliction of emotional distress, wrongful termination and more charges, but pre-trial motions have narrowed down the list of charges to wrongful termination and battery. If Sheridan wins, she could collect around $4 million, the equivalent of one year's salary. Sheridan alleges that after she complained to ABC execs that Chery struck her in the head during a 2008 rehearsal, her character, Edie Britt, was killed off a couple of months later as a retaliation for complaining.

First Steve Carell and now this? James Spader's tenure as CEO Robert California on NBC's "The Office" is coming to an end. The actor won't be returning for the show's ninth season -- at his own request. "James always wanted this to be a one-year arc, and he now leaves us having created one of the most enigmatic and dynamic characters in television," says executive producer Paul Lieberstein. "He's been a great friend to me and the show, helping us successfully transition into the post-Michael Scott years, and I'm grateful for that."

Former "Charlie's Angel" Lucy Liu is apparently ready for more detective work. She's signed on to star as Watson in CBS' modern take on Sherlock Holmes, "Elementary." To make ends meet, she apparently takes in Holmes, who is fresh out of rehab and in need of a sober companion.
