After lying low for more than three days, country music singer Mindy McCready and her young son Zander were found hiding together in a home in Heber Springs, Arkansas, Friday night, according to David Rahbany, the chief deputy U.S. Marshal in eastern Arkansas. "The child appeared to be in good condition when we found him," said Rahbany. He was in the closet with his mother." McCready has not been charged with any crime, and Rahbany said it is unclear whether any future charges await her. The singer, 36, had disappeared with the 5-year-old on Tuesday, after McCready removed Zander from her father's house in Cape Coral, Florida. "I have been fighting the Florida court system to protect my son, and bring him home," she wrote in a Facebook message. "Please do not worry." McCready, who has fought a public battle against drug addiction, does not have custody of the child – her parents do – but she does have visitation privileges. On Wednesday, it was reported, that McCready is pregnant with twins. Rahbany said local law authorities had the Heber Springs home, believed to belong to the singer's boyfriend, placed under surveillance for hours before Zander was found late Friday. He has since been placed in the custody of the Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services, who are arranging for him to be taken to his legal guardian in Florida, his maternal grandmother.Former Miss USA Rima Fakih may be adding an unfortunate new title to her roster: defendant.
